Our stay was great. We had a great time visiting the area and cabin fit our needs. The most used areas of the house were clean.( counter tops, bedrooms, and bath) but the far corners or unused areas had many dust bunnies. However i would still stay again.
This cabin is awesome. My family and I would love to stay again because it is beautiful, secluded, and conveniently located for UP tourism. However, the hand soap in the bathroom was full of water, and the master bed was so creaky the entire peninsula could hear any activities occuring there upon. Seriously though, book this cabin. You'll love it.
Really enjoyed my stay here! Nice size cabin, lots of sleeping area for my large group of ice climbers. Comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Nice functional space. Flexible and communicative hosts. Kitchen is well outfitted with dishes and pots and pans, we did a lot of cooking and it was great! Just bring your own Tupperware for leftovers. Good supply of towels for large group. Lots of TVs. Drivable distance to town while also being nice and secluded. Would definitely stay there again!
There was scheduled maintenance on the power lines one of the days we rented this property, so there was no electrical power from 7:30am to 5:30pm, which meant we couldn't flush the toilet, take a shower, cook meals, etc, etc.
The cabin and decor was lovely. There were however some cleaning issues that could be addressed: cobwebs in the corners as well as dead bugs and dirty windows, Ants in the kitchen, and we found someone’s underwear under one bed and a fingernail under ours.
Safety for my elderly parents was another concern. A handrail getting up the front steps would be nice, as well as some non slip decals on the floor of the tub. There are no handholds for getting into the shower and it’s quite a high step into it.
The light over the stove didn’t work.
Lastly, the beds seemed too soft for our liking and we rolled into the center.
All in all it was a fair stay. Quiet, relaxed, and homey. Loved the interior and the dishes, the bedding and the layout worked perfectly. We used the grill one night, and there was a thunderstorm one night and we watched old black and white Twilight Zone episodes without any interference, so that was fun. I had to use the laundry facilities twice during our visit and that was convenient.
The cabin was just like it was represented in the pictures. Very close to the trails for riding quads. It was very well furnished. Beds were super comfy.
Me and my wife stayed here for a few days while visitng pictured rocks. The cabin in the woods was really beautiful and a relaxing place to get a way from the city. It was very clean and cozy and really loved the bed. It was so soft and confortable. It is about 15 minute drive to the Munising center and the drive there is just beautiful. You can also walk around a small lake and enjoy morning stroll or run.
Very clean cabin in Wetmore, MI that’s been recently updated with nice amenities. Convenient to downtown Munising, Puctured Rocks, and the Hiawatha National Forest but still private. Great communication from owner. Highly recommended.
Great property so cozy! Beds were so comfy. Love having the fire pit we just had to clean it out and it is a bit beat up. The lighting is a bit dim could use attention. We did love it and would stay again, the laundry was nice and clean and new washer and dryer.
Cute little cabin secluded enough for privacy but near the road and 15 mins from Munising. Our stay included myself, my husband, and our four kids: 8,11, 12, 15. Everything as described, but we couldn’t figure out the phone, lol. The owner was quick to respond as needed. They had many kitchen essentials like dishes, coffee pot (Keurig style) knives, pots and pans. Nice laundry set up if needed. Comfy furniture and beds. The fold out couch upstairs is a little wonky, as most are! Great wifi connection, too, which I needed for work. Definitely recommend.
Prefect place to stay with a large group. Short 15 minute drive to Munising near many waterfalls, beaches, trails, and boat tours to enjoy. We had 10 people ranging from 6 to 47 years old. We were all very comfortable.
