The house is truly charming and clean. The surroundings are very pretty, and the pool is great fun. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. Lee and Tricia are well-organized and super friendly, and they wanted us to feel completely free and at home. We comfortably stayed as a family of 10 adults (sharing rooms). It is well worth its price.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, historic property conveniently located in Albuquerque's North Valley. Property owners were excellent to work with - welcoming and responsive both during the booking process and our visit. Next time I am in ABQ, I will book this property again!
We stayed here with two families with small children, and grandparents. The two big rooms are super comfortable for a family, it was a treat to not have to try and cram a pack and play in a corner! It's a beautiful house in a beautiful area, quick easy drive to family friendly activities like the zoo and botanic garden!
Our stay at the hacienda was just perfect. The neighborhood was quiet. The accommodations was a good fit for my family with the 3 bathrooms and were accessible for my handicapped mother as well. Highly recommended.
Tricia and Lee are welcoming hosts who provide a lovely, quiet, get-away home on an historic property . Their country road is suitable for walking yet still offers quick access to all ABQ has to offer. The bedrooms are large and tastefully decorated. Each bathroom has a lovely tub suitable for soaking (my favorite feature). Note: The a/c is actually an evaporative cooler, not refrigeration. We were very happy with our experience and wish it could have been longer.
We've been to Albuquerque many times and this was by far the nicest accommodation we've stayed at. It was a very charming and relaxing house with almost everything you could want/need. It certainly gives you the New Mexico aesthetics while providing a lot of creature comforts.
The pool was a great added bonus for our kid. 100% would stay again.
Lovely property with the most gracious hosts. We were in Albuquerque during a heat wave and so grateful for the pool and the many shady outdoor hangout zones. The bedrooms were spacious and relaxing, kitchen was well appointed and the whole place was super clean and comfortable. Lee and Tricia were so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to return!
One of the best weekends my family and I have had in some time. Host Lee and Tricia were awesome made us feel like home and the property is amazing. A must stay for a nice getaway for the family. We will definitely be back thank you Lee and Tricia!
Hosts Lee and Tricia could not have been more gracious, accommodating and friendly. They responded to pre-visit messages usually within minutes. The evening of our arrival, after a 12-hour drive, we entered the guest house to find a refrigerator stocked with food to last us well beyond our first night's needs, much to our delight. That was exceptionally thoughtful and considerate by Lee and Tricia.
Tricia provided us with full operating instructions of the house, and was readily available to answer subsequent questions. At least one of the hosts checked in with us daily to ensure that everything in our stay was going smoothly.
Besides stocking the refrigerator before our visit, Lee and Tricia also provided me with an office away from the office, printing documents for me several times when needed so that I did not have to venture out to a FedEx Office or UPS Store. It was far from a small gesture, as it saved me time and, more importantly, having to risk another trip out in public during the coronavirus.
For our family, the grounds were camp-like: an inviting pool, plenty of open grounds to wander around, and a beautiful neighborhood with a nearby winery and horse stables. A Walgreen's was a 5-minute walk from the property. The nearby Los Ranchos retail promenade (4th Street north of Osuna) had numerous appealing local shops. A must-visit is the Los Ranchos Bakery, for delicious pastries, coffee, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The bakers were in open view in the back of the store, toiling away. At a minimum, I got a cappuccino or mocha from there everyday.
We've previously stayed at most of the top hotels in Albuquerque. They're nice for what they are. But for a memorable, low-key stay with a heap of New Mexico hospitality, Adobe Garden is tops. We will be repeat customers many more times! We greatly appreciate Lee and Tricia's kindness and hospitality.
Tricia and Lee could not have been more hospitable! The home is in a quiet neighborhood. The rental house is large, with multiple beds in each of the 3 bedrooms. The pool was wonderful, and there are multiple outdoor rustic settings which were homey. A great palce for a family gathering!
We had a great stay! The house is behind the main house where the owners live and run a small bed and breakfast. The house has 3 bed rooms that all have their own bathrooms (2 are true master bedrooms on each end of the house and the 3rd is a bit smaller but still great with own attached bathroom but door to hallway too). The property is large with lots to explore - apple orchard, pool, outdoor patio/seating area which we used to have a big cookout. It is close enough to downtown - we visited the zoo and went out to eat a few times. We also walked to the winery down the street which was great (even with the kids). Lee and Tricia checked in on us when we arrived. We had one small issue with the property which they responded to quickly! Would definitely stay here again!
We booked the house because we usually have a family get-together every summer - my wife and I; one son, his wife and two teenagers; and the second son and his wife. The second son lives in Albuquerque but will be moving by the end of the year so we thought that it would be nice to all meet in ABQ. The house worked out well for the 6 of us who stayed there, and it was located fairly conveniently to the second son's apartment and everything else we wanted to do in ABQ.
The house was well-furnished and well-equipped. It was great having the pool and, since there were no other guests, we had it to ourselves.
Tricia and Lee couldn't have been nicer. When my wife and I arrived it was necessary for me to visit an urgent care facility. To avoid our getting lost, Tricia volunteered to come with us and stayed through the process. A day or so later we were having a problem with the WiFi and Lee and Tricia responded right away and got things back on track.
I would certainly recommend Lee and Tricia's "bunkhouse".
I have been gone from Albuquerque for 22 years! Yet our vacation stay at this beautiful guest host in the north valley bought back at the wonderful memories of New Mexico! From adobe walls to kiva fireplaces, our stay was comfortable and quaint! Thank you both for your gracious hospitality! We loved it!
Comfy stay with my volleyball team for the National Senior Games in Albuquerque.
Lee and Tricia reached out to me when I booked our team’s stay and made me feel perfectly comfortable with my choice. When we arrived they both introduced us to the area and provided places to go, places to eat, and things to do.
The house was generously equipped with bathroom and kitchen products. It made our cooking nights easy.
The owners and the stay were delightful.
The home wasn’t anything like I expected it was way better that I would of thought and the property managers were really nice, would come back.

Wonderful!
We loved our stay at the hacienda. We were in town for just 4 day and really wished we could have stayed longer.
Lee and Tricia were perfect hosts. Very available for us if we needed any help or suggestions for place to eat or things to see.
We will definitely check to see if the hacienda is available the next time we come to town.

Why they chose this property
We love this property because it has the feeling of a traditional New Mexico hacienda, with a quiet and peaceful courtyard, all within the village and close to Old Town. It is truly a retreat from the stresses of everyday life.
What makes this property unique
The Village of Los Ranchos is a privately incorporated semi-rural village along the Rio Grande that lies within the heart of Albuquerque. It was established to maintain the rural character of the North Valley, without allowing the city to encroach on the historical charm of this region.
