About this property

Villa Lavande: to live the dream of the Luberon

A haven of peace on the edge of a lavender field, in one of the best places in Provence - the "golden triangle" of the Luberon - where you can really be at nature. It's total peace, only the song of birds and the breeze in the trees accompany you.

Villa Lavande is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with no close neighbors and an outdoor Jacuzzi to watch the stars. Here you can dive into the large collection of vinyl records and play them thoroughly without disturbing a soul.

The wonderful Luberon villages of Bonnieux, Goult and Roussillon are a 10-minute drive away.

The house is on one level, with a terrace deck for dining and relaxation, and a Moroccan terrace.

The living room and kitchen are open space and open onto the terrace.

The living room has a TV / DVD, fireplace, desk with printer and piano. In the kitchen: oven, stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and in another room washing machine and dryer. There is a dining table in the living room and another on the terrace.

The house has Wifi Internet everywhere.

The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are on the ground floor.

Bedroom 1 has a bed 1.6 m wide and opens onto the terrace. It has a bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet.

Bedroom 2 also has a double bed 1.6 m wide and the bathroom has a shower and sink.

Bedroom 3 has a 1.4m wide bed and a bathroom with shower and sink. There is a separate WC for bedrooms 2 and 3.

Outside, the house is nestled against the rocks and trees that shelter it, with the lavender field on the front blooming from mid-June to early August.

There is 20,000 m2 of land and after that is the countryside of Provence.

At the front of the house, looking at the lavender field, the dining table carved into a single slab of wood, in the shade of the pergola, with a brick barbecue. Next to this is the relaxation area with a sofa, armchairs and sun loungers.

At the back of the house, among the trees, is a relaxing terrace.

Access is by a well maintained road, the house has a gate and secure parking.

Bonnieux is as picture-perfect from afar as it is on the inside. Beautifully preserved and also alive all year thanks to its shops, cafes and especially its many restaurants. There is fine architecture to be seen in Bonnieux’s streets, dating back to the middle ages. And another reason to love Bonnieux – it has magnificent views, facing west there is a panorama that takes in half of the Luberon. The Friday morning market in Bonnieux is a must, it’s well stocked with stalls and very picturesque too.

Ideal Getaway - and "get to"
Villa Lavande was the perfect place for my family to have lots of fun - doing things and doing nothing! The house was incredibly comfortable, the pool divine, and the outdoor spaces for gathering and relaxing just wonderful. We were up to five adults, and there was plenty of space to hand out alone or together.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It feels both 'removed from it all' while also ideally located in the Luberon with access to beautiful villages. The well equipped kitchen, many beautiful relaxing areas and artistic touches in the house were particularly appreciated. Extra special thanks to the property managers, Mark and Krissy, who were very welcoming and professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was in order.

Just idyllic
We had a great 2 weeks stay in this peaceful retreat. The house is totally tranquil, in the oaks and lavender. The outside spaces are lovely for unwinding, and inside the decor is characterful and very homely. We couldn't have found a better place to get some rest and recharge the batteries. And we were very happy to use the piano. Highly recommended!
