DAMSON COTTAGE, family friendly, with a garden in Whitby

A delightful cottage just a few minutes' walk from the town centre with an enclosed garden and private parking, ideal for couples or families.

Ground Floor
The property has an entrance hall which leads to a large, split level area having a cosy sitting room with gas fired wood burning stove and flat screen TV/DVD, which in turn leads down to a fabulous well-equipped, large kitchen with granite work surfaces, a superb gas range, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave plus a table and chairs to sit and enjoy meals together. Separate utility room with washing machine. There is the bonus of a sun room that leads off from the kitchen, and which overlooks the garden.
First Floor
The first floor has two bedrooms; a large double bedroom which overlooks the garden, plus a single bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin. There is a house bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, WC and hand wash basin.
Second Floor
To the second floor is a twin bedroom.
Outside
Lawned garden with seating and a BBQ.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Folk Festival
Kitchen was great and having two sitting rooms was a bonus. Plenty of room to store all the instruments without them taking over the house. 15 min walk to the town and 25 min walk to the Spa. Lots of hills.
