Relaxing, quiet and comfortable

We met Piero at the apartment, and he made us feel welcomed right from the start. He showed us around the apartment to make sure we would be comfortable along with leaving us with some goodies in the kitchen. The main floor has the living area and kitchen, and upstairs are the bedrooms. The apartment was very clean and there are full bathrooms on both floors, that was very convenient. The outside has a large backyard and views of the hills. There are a couple of covered patio areas with plenty of tables and chairs and a small basketball court. There are sites to see in Bologna and then nice to come back to a quiet and relaxing apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we were there longer than 2 days and would like to return the next time we are in this area.

Pier is so sweet!

We loved our stay with Pier. He’s super sweet and allowed us to use his pizza oven one evening for dinner. He made us a small breakfast every morning. His house is a typical Italian house so Americans need to set their expectations accordingly. The views are amazing but make sure you go during daylight as the road up the mountain can be tricky if you are not used to it. Thank you Pier!

Casa Doriana in the beautiful hills of Bologna

This was one of the best homes we have stayed in Italy! Pierro was an amazing host and there was plenty of space for our family of 4 to enjoy the property and landscape. We stayed for 8 nights and it felt like home away from home. Our children LOVED staying here and hiked in nearby areas almost everyday. The view was breathtaking. Pierro is a sweet man and on our last day he hosted a delicious lunch of pizza and dessert. He also made arrangements for us to have a home-cooked dinner of typical cuisine from the region in one of his neighbor’s home. It was another highlight of our stay! We highly recommend this place especially to families with children.

Très bon et très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Piero qui est un hôte accueillant et très attentionné. Notre fille fêtait son anniversaire durant le séjour et notre hôte avait noté la date et lui a offert des chocolats le matin de son anniversaire. La maison est très propre, au calme dans un très beau jardin. Merci encore pour ce séjour et votre accueil chaleureux !

Ruhe und Entspannung in den Hügeln Bolognas

Zugegeben: Die Anfahrt war nicht ohne ... Ca. 25 Minuten über eine kurvenreiche Landstraße und zum Schluss ein sehr steiler enger Weg, am Ende ca. 300 Meter Schotter. Dafür erwartete uns ein Domizil in absoluter Ruhe mit tollem Fernblick, umgeben von Natur. Der überaus freundliche Gastgeber wohnt im Haus nebenan und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit kleinen frischen Aufmerksamkeiten zum Frühstück versorgt. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung passend zum rustikalen Charme des Anwesens. Nachts summt und zirpt es unter dem Sternenhimmel. Vor dem Haus lädt eine wirklich riesige Wiese zum Ausruhen, Sonnen und Spielen. Privater Parkplatz ist inklusive, das Hoftor öffnet und schließt auf Knopfdruck. Nach Bologna sind es nicht mehr als 30 Minuten, nach Modena und Carpi etwa 1 Stunde und 15 über die Autobahn.

Séjour au top !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à monte san pietro (pied à terre pour visiter Bologne, Modène et Parme) Nous ne regrettons pas, un vrai petit havre de paix en pleine nature au calme! Les enfants ont adorés cet environnement. La maison est confortable et spacieuse pour une famille et le top du top est l’hôte qui est accueillant et très gentil ( les enfants ont adorés les gaufres, croissants, muffins, pizza ,,,) 😋 Un bon et beau souvenir d’Italie.

Beautiful location

This was truly a home from home - gorgeous house, everything we could want, lovely host, beautiful gardens, all within reach of the things we want to explore on the outskirts of Bologna. Piero was an exceptional host - friendly and kind, and his wee morning treats were great. I was truly sad to leave this lovely place.

Ganz großartig!

Gastgeber: der netteste, freundlichste, großzügigste, den wir je hatten!!! Lage: das Haus liegt auf einem Hügel im Wald, Vogelgezwitscher Tag und Nacht(!!), wie im Paradies. Traumhafter Ausblick ins Tal. Einrichtung: einfach, zweckmäßig, ohne Klimbim (wie wir es mögen)
