About this property

Perfect for a vacation around the Capital in a large house and green area

Very large single family house; just remodeled; large and full of light. Short drive to downtown DC (good for museums, Capitol Hill, the White House, etc). Very safe area. Very green area with parks and playgrounds. Visit the Nation's Capital, Alexandria, Annapolis. Enjoy a perfect family vacation with lots of opportunities. Kids will love the Air and Space Museum; the National History Museum; and much more. You can rest after exciting and busy days. The home is available "free" of our pets (cats), which are with friends as we rent the house, but we are just mentioning it in case someone is super-allergic to cats (the property gets a deep cleaning anyhow before any rental).

Great location, disappointing property
My family, some fam friends, and I stayed at this property while my brother and I were undergoing testing/procedures at NIH for his upcoming transplant. The location was perfect for the appointments with a lot to do nearby. The owner is very nice and was helpful when contacted however the property was not in good condition. My parents spent a large portion of their 12 days there cleaning to make it more tolerable for us. The owner was very apologetic and did provide a small refund but that doesn’t change that our stay was subpar due to the condition of the house and property. He did state that he will ensure he improves everything for his next guests so fingers crossed!

Beautiful neighborhood spacious home
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lots of space and plenty of bathrooms for us. Lovely new kitchen was a bonus. Communication was great and check in and out was super easy and convenient. Will be back for sure next time in the area.

Fantastic community life; very green and safe; close to everything in the Nation's Capital and yet quite and relaxing

What makes this property unique

Very large house right near the Nation's Capital. Lot of space and rooms. Totally re-modeled. Huge family room with fireplace. Very large patio. Even a private basketball court. Garage. We just remodeled it with a brand new kitchen, formal dining room, and family room.

You can take daily trips in the Nation's Capital, see the White House, the Capitol Hill, the Smithsonian's Museums (including the amazing Air and Space Museum); visit Alexandria, Annapolis, Baltimore, the beautiful Chesapeake Bay; short drive to lot of great places for families such as the Chincoteague island with the famous Chincoteague Ponies. But, as you enjoy all of this, in the evening you can have a super-relaxing time with friends in the large garden. This and much more.
