There is a nice 90 m² living space opening onto the terrace with South-West-exposed fully fitted kitchen directly opening onto the private 9x3.20 m pool with Jetstream and South-West-exposed terrace.

Brilliant

A lovely property in lovely grounds. Plenty of activities and things for the children to do. The indoor pool was a real hit as was the table tennis and the games room. The rooms were clean and spacious and well looked after. We loved our stay.

Magnifique maison décorée avec goût

Maison de plain-pied immense, très bien équipée et agencée Chaque chambre a son thème. La décoration est superbe. La piscine est très agréable et chauffée à 29-30. Le jardin est spacieux et sans vis à vis. La buanderie est très pratique avec des enfants ! Premier séjour dans ce gîte Nous reviendrons !

Fantastic house for a large family group

This property was fantastic for a large family group. It is clear that the owners have put a great deal of thought into how they furnish and equip the house so that it has everything you need to cater for a range of ages. There is a great family room if you have a baby, there is a bathroom suitable for more elderly or disabled people. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. The pool was great, especially good that it was indoor given that we did not have the best weather for the first week. The only thing I would say is that the outside gardens and games facilities are suffering from neglect. Things like the petanque balls are so rusty and dirty it puts you off using them and the rest of the games equipment is stored in an outside cupboard that allows water in to the detriment of all of the equipment. The lawn is in a terrible state - not so much of an issue for us, but if you envisaged your children playing in the gardens this would impact you (perhaps the very dry weather makes this difficult). The photos in the description were obviously taken some years ago so don't reflect the current state of the grounds. Overall we had a great holiday and would really recommend the property. I hope the other comments can be seen as constructive input to make things even better. The local village has a shop and bar that is open long hours, so very convenient. We were able to get croissants and pain au chocolate fresh every day. There is also a pizza van that visits on Saturday evenings - they were very good and just the job when we arrived off the plane late on Saturday evening. The coast and Passage du Gois are within a 20 minute drive, but if you plan to visit the Isle de Noirmoutier you need to allow a little more time than you think due to traffic in high season. Unfortunately on the two times we chose to visit one day was a bank holiday and the other was market day (Thursday) which made parking a huge problem.

Peaceful location

Fantastic property, located in beautiful countryside near to village of Chateauneuf. Facilities fabulous. Very well equipped. Garden great for games - table tennis, badminton, boules, etc. Lovely pool. Owners very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay in Chateauneuf

Beautiful house, even better than the photos. The facilities were excellent and there was everything you could need. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed playing table tennis and having BBQs in the garden. We enjoyed day trips to Noirmoutier which was very close and country walks around the property. Chateauneuf is a lovely little town and the Dr was very helpful when our child had an ear infection. The owners were great, showing us everything when we arrived and responded to all questions thereafter. Highly recommended!

Amazing house with everything you could need!

We have just come home from one of the nicest holidays we’ve ever had. We travelled as 2 families, with 4 adults and 3 children under 5 and the house couldn’t have been more perfect! Check in was great and very informative. The house is kitted out with absolutely everything you could need or want, it really is a home from home. The photos do not do it justice - it is far larger. Everything was immaculate and the beds were very comfy. We had the added bonus of spending time with the owner’s dog who was the most beautiful, we’ll behaved girl. The owners have put so much care into the house, we’ll definitely be returning!

Très belle propriété au calme

Magnifique grange restaurée avec beaucoup de goût. De l'espace partout. Nous étions 10 adultes et n'avons manqué de rien. Equipement complet aussi bien dans les chambres, la cuisine, le salon de repos...tout est prévu : jeux extérieurs, linge de piscine, jeux de société, vaisselle en quantité, etc.... A recommander
