Great place
Very nice place to stay even on a rainy weekend since the hot tub griill and firepit are under a shelter. Only complaint we had was the propane bottle for the grill was empty and there wasnt any propane for the firepit on the porch

Great getaway!
The property was nice, clean and secluded, even with two other cottages on the property. The night sky was amazing at the back of the property, wished we would've brought a telescope. There are alot of state parks in the area for walking and hiking and Ohiopyle is close for rafting or kyaking, we were even able to take a quick trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo amd Aqaurium which was only about an hour and half away. Would book again.

Long weekend away
The locations was absolutely beautiful, very out of the way! My kids thought it was to far away from civilization lol. The home was cozy even though the AC was not working the window units worked a little fan we purchased also worked great. We toured the Falling Waters, ohiopyle state park and some hiking. I highly recommend for a little getaway for a couple/family or alone

Disappointed and wouldn’t recommended to anyone
Just before my arrival I received a message from the property management company stating that the drain in one of the bath tubs was broken and it could not be stepped on because it would break the temporary fix that was in place. At first I thought that the property was clean when I walked in because it smelled clean. After living there for a couple nights I really started seeing how unclean the place really was, which is really gross. Not to mention the other issues during our stay. I understand that we’re located in the middle of nowhere where wildlife is abundant. However, the “skirting” around the bottom of the house was not secure and some type of rodent got underneath and was rattling the walls of the house. From the inside it sounded like a bear but after investigation we figured it must have been a ground hog or something. The cabinets and drawers in the kitchens had mouse poop in them and I saw a mouse run across the floor and run behind the dishwasher! I contacted the number that was given if there were any issues. Travis was very nice and did come out the next day to set a live trap for the animal under the house and put some mouse traps under the kitchen sink. It wasn’t until later that evening that we discovered that the dishwasher was not functional-after we had already loaded it. The property management company didn’t seem very concerned with my displeasure either. Overall, for the price I paid for a 2 night stay I expected much better of an experience.

Close to GAP, needs some TLC
Overall the cottage okay and location is very nice but the cottage needs some TLC. Had come to the Confluence area to ride the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) trail. For my rental of 13 nights, per night price was very reasonable. First the good The location is approximately 2 miles from a GAP trailhead on a lightly travelled road. Even with two other cottages sharing the driveway, hot tub and grill never heard the other renters the few nights that there were other renters. Got to see several rabbits, robins, bluejays,a groundhog and a hummingbird. Good kitchen. Used the grill twice. Too hot for hot tub. some slight differences between listing/pictures and reality Now has two window AC units. Central air still runs but doesn't seem to cool very well, is noisy. Hughes satellite internet. Speed was slow compared to at home but not sure if that is normal for Hughes. Also on a limited data plan which you only learn about days before your stay. Now the not so good Dishwasher wasn't working. Would beep, lights come on every 25-30 minutes but never worked. Bathub in bathroom by smaller bedrooms had stopper/drain hole broken off from the rest of the tub. Many dead bugs in the exhaust fan globe in master bathroom. Could see the bugs through the globe with light off. Dishes put away that weren't clean. Did notify management about these issues except for central air. Told them they could wait to fix them until after I left. More to review but limited by VRBO.

A wonderful place to stay
We booked this place on one day's notice so I can overlook some usual amenities not being there such as soap, shampoo/conditioner, matches and other similar things that hosts usually supply. That being said, it was a wonderful place to stay. Very cozy, doggo friendly and beautiful place to spend time with easy access to Ohiopyle. We absolutely recommend staying there

Off the beaten path, quiet country home
Quiet setting. We saw a few critters and sitting on the back porch in the evening we saw lots of birds. It is perfect if you want to "unplug" for a bit. Though it is secluded, you can get to restaurants in 15 minutes, and you still have your TV and internet if you can't let that go!

Running water issues and very dirty home.
It's a very dangerous and remote place they almost right infront of our eyes.the place had water issues and the place wasn't cleaned very well, the place had bad wifi and connection.we reported the water issue and they sent 2 men that looked drunk and they never knew what was wrong.and now they say it is our fault.but what I know is that people have to shower and use the restroom but supposedly it was our fault.we couldn't even shower or use the bathroom.

Whitewater rafting trip
The place was ok. Could use some updating stained sheets comforters etc. The dishwasher didn't work. I didn't make an attempt to get it fixed just washed by hand really not a big deal. Overall an ok place just needed some minor attention in certain areas. Weed eating, skirting fixed etc. Was also confused because i was charged a cleaning fee upfront then was asked to sweep and vacuum before i checked out. Not sure what that was about. Maybe that's common practice. Fairly new to VRBO rentals.

Clean and spacious accommodations!
This house was perfect for our family of four while in town for the Springs Fest. It is much bigger that it appears from the outside. It was very clean with full kitchen and appliances. The bedding and towels were hotel quality and really enhanced our experience. The TV and wi-fi worked great. We enjoyed the propane fire feature on the front porch one night and the fire pit out back the second night. The shooting target also got some good use. It was so quiet at night and the meadow was beautiful to wake up to.each morning. Will definitely return! Thank you for a great time!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
The cottage was very clean, had adorable decor, multiple amenities, absolutely wonderful location. Very spacious inside and clearly well maintained. The pavilion was much bigger than it looked in the pictures and the swing, picnic tables and fire ring made it my favorite spot over the weekend. Very convenient access to route 40 and the ohiopyle falls. The property managers were so kind and very helpful with all of our questions. This was the perfect location for a relaxing weekend. I would without a doubt stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a rental in the area.

Conundrum - 5 star or 3 star?
My husband and I met our 27 yr old daughter for a weekend together. We needed a place to accommodate her dog and this fit the bill. General notes: Sleeping and eating arrangements support 5 if you are a family, with younger kids. Maybe a teenager, definitely not unrelated adults, in our opinion. Table is a bistro style, that just worked for 3 adults. Might be fine if you will spend most of the time outdoors or touring. Master bed was comfortable. Plenty of dresser/closet space. For pet-friendly places, this was clean and in good shape. We didn't feel like we were putting up with a trashy place because of the dog. That said, there was plenty of dog hair on the living room seating. The 5 star: The kitchen was outfitted with a whole set of knives that were sharp, non-stick pots and frying pans that worked, and important accessories for cooking whole meals. Best we've seen in VRBO - I think it was pretty newly outfitted. Beautiful setting, about 30 minute drive from many attractions. Open layout makes up for low square footage. 3 star: We've never had to make our own beds before. Actually the bed was dressed, but the sheets and pillows weren't on it. At bedtime we discovered that we still had that chore, and then discovered our sheets were still a bit damp, although folded and ready to go. There are no hangers in the whole unit. There was no drying rack, or dish towels for the kitchen. No baking pans, sheets, or grill pan. One half size cutting board. We would recommend this cottage, but just be prepared for a little extra work.

A little slice of heaven
The world we live in today makes this place so comforting...the sights, smells and breathtaking views. Such a wonderful place to regroup and enjoy the area. Clean. Peaceful. Beautiful. The leaves were at peak and the sounds were so relaxing. Home away from home. Easy access to the bike trail and hiking trails with our dogs. Our dogs absolutely loved this place just as much as we did...no anxiety from them at all. We will definitely be back! You all are so easy to work with. Thank you so much for everything!!
