Entering the apartment, you immediately feel a sense of sensorial well-being. The lava stone walls, 90 centimeters thick of the typical casudde dell'Etna, ensure that the temperature inside the house does not suffer large temperature changes. In front of the South façade there is a large roof with outdoor cooking area and a wood-burning oven. It is immersed in the Etna Vineyards and enjoys a fantastic view !!!!

Einmaliger Blick zwischen den Weinbergen auf den Ätner

Ein toller Aufenthalt für Menschen, die das einfache Leben lieben. Mitten in der Natur gelegen, umgeben von Weinbergen mit einem tollen Blick auf den Ätner von der Terrasse aus. Das Häuschen innen ist wirklich einfach ausgestattet und man lebt am besten aus dem Koffer, da es nicht wirklich die Möglichkeit gibt sich einzurichten. Antonio ist immer erreichbar und super lieb und freundlich. Vom Papa gab es auch Öl geschmeckt . Das Häuschen ist super bei schönen Wetter und wenn es nicht kalt ist. Uns hat es gefallen.

Naturnahes Objekt

Das Objekt befindet sich in einem Weinberg und ist etwa einen Kilometer entfernt von allen Objekten des täglichen Bedarfs. Mit Wagen ist das kein Problem. Bei unserer Ankunft war Antonio sofort zur Stelle, um uns einzuweisen und die ersten Fragen zu beantworten. Auch danach war Antonio immer sofort per Telefon erreichbar. Wer in einem Hotel absteigen möchte, sollte das auch tun und nicht hierher kommen. Wer allerdings ein paar Tage nahe am Ätna umgeben von Lavasteinen in einem Haus gebaut aus Lava verbringen möchte, der ist hier richtig. Wir hatten immer das Nötige wie heißes Wasser, Gas, Strom, Wifi etc. Sehr interessantes Objekt. Danke, Antonio. Uwe

Häuschen im Weinberg

Das kleine Häuschen hat fast alles, was man braucht um sich wunderbar zu entspannen und die Region zu erkunden. Es ist ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Die liebevollen Details am Haus sind bemerkenswert. Leider ist der Unterhalt der Hauseinrichtung nicht so bemerkenswert. Es fehlen Basics wie Nudelsieb und Schneidmesser. Der Schlafraum ist nicht gut durchlüftet, deshalb etwas muffig und es fehlt an Stellfläche (Schrank, Regal, irgendetwas in der Art) für die eigenen Utensilien. Dafür standen viele leere Weinflaschen teilweise mit Widmung rum. Die sollten dann wenigstens abgestaubt werden. Die Liegeflächen der Liegestühle sind stark beschädigt, auf die Auflage möchte man sich nicht wirklich legen. Fazit: das wunderschöne Häuschen sollte besser gepflegt werden. Wir hätten die Details auch mit dem Vermieter besprochen, aber unser Italienisch gibt das nicht her. Ansonsten hat uns Antonio gut betreut. Vielen Dank!

A piece of Sicilian Heaven

We stayed at Antonio’s place for 3 nights. Truly wish we could have spent more. Detached, yet only 5 minutes away from the closest minutes, a restaurant within walking distance. The best part was the vineyards, which we could walk through, and the deck chairs under a wonderful tree where you can truly relax, and the world suddenly slows down. Highly recommended if you want a great break where it’s just you. Ps WiFi is available but highly recommended to use in small doses, you want to enjoy every minute in this piece of Sicilian heaven.

Garten Eden

Wir sind sehr froh, dieses wunderschöne Haus gefunden zu haben. Der Gastgeber Antonio ist ein sehr sympathischer Mensch, der uns herzlich empfangen hat. Inzwischen ist das Grundstück noch schöner geworden als auf den Bildern, da aktuell alles grünt. Während wir also jeden Tag draußen saßen und gegessen haben, konnten wir zur einen Seite den Ätna betrachten und zur anderen die wunderschöne Stadt Castiglione die Sicilia. Das Haus selbst hat alles, was zwei Personen benötigen. Die Küche ist ausgestattet, das Wlan funktioniert, Grillkohle und Grill durften wir einfach mitbenutzen. Antionio hat uns sogar für unsere "grigliata" sein hauseigenes Olivenöl geschenkt. Dieser wunderschöne Ort bietet Entschleunigung, Erholung und daneben einige schöne Spots, die man gesehen haben sollte (Gola dall`Alcantara, Castiglione di Sicilia, Cuba di San Domenica, Ätna-Nord/Süd etc.). Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist der Ort eher schwer zu erreichen, aber wir hatten einen Mietwagen. Als wir mit diesem einen Unfall hatten, hat Antionio uns ohne zu zögern angebote, uns zum nächsten Bahnhof zu fahren, damit wir unseren Ersatzwagen am Flughafen Catania abholen konnten. Wir sind nachhaltig von diesem Ort und der Gastfreudlichkeit Antonios begeistert. Ein Urlaub im Garten Eden.

Ruhiges Landhäuschen zwischen Ätna und Alcantara-Tal

mitten in einem Weingut gelegen. Das Haus bietet kurze Anfahrtswege zu schönen Wandertouren. Gastgeber Antonio ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Traumhaft

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage mitten im Weinstock mit Blick auf die Berge um Castiglione di Sicilia und den Ätna. Dazu ist Antonio auch ein wundervoller Gastgeber und wir haben seine Trauben, Tomaten, Olivenöl, Wein sowie seine vielen Tipps genossen. Wir kommen wieder.

Casa e Vigneto alle pendici dell'Etna

La proprietà si trova tra l'Alcantara e il versante Nord dell'Etna . A mio parere uno dei posti più belli della Sicilia . La posizione è strategica per godersi decine di escursioni a pochissimi km di distanza. Inoltre la vicinanza sia a Solicchiata (Cave Ox) che a Castiglione di Sicilia (Vitis) consente di provare ottimi piatti tradizionali e bere straordinari vini sia dell'Etna che di ogni regione d'Italia come pure d'oltralpe. La casa è un gioiello della tradizione contadina etnea restaurata alla perfezione con materiali naturali , e circondata da vigneti da sogno . Antonio è stato gentilissimo , puntuale , simpatico e disponibile . Consiglio vivamente di trascorrere qualche giorno in questo splendido angolo della Sicilia , in una delle case più tradizionali e autentiche che si possano affittare ad un prezzo comunque moderato. Grazie Antonio . alla prossima !
