32 One Lusty Glaze is a three bedroom apartment on the second floor of the prestigious One Lusty Glaze development and has one of the finest settings being an end of the block facing the sea with it's breath taking coastal panorama with several family beaches within touching distance, but still close to Newquay town centre on the North Cornish coast.

FACILITIES

There is an allocated car space available to guests just outside the main entrance doors to the rear of the building. Wide staircases, a lift to the second floor and across the car park is a personal metal storage cage for bikes, wetsuits, surfboards and beach equipment.

LOCATION

32 One Lusty Glaze has one of the finest locations in Newquay away from the urban environment of the town centre and yet within an easy walk of these facilities. Porth, Lusty Glaze, Tolcarne and Great Western beaches are minutes away for family days out. Chester Road Shopping Complex is close by as well as Tesco Express.

Newquay Railway Station with it's branch line to Par that connects London Paddington to Penzance is a ten minute walk into the near side of town. Newquay Cornwall airport is six miles away and Truro City is fourteen miles away, offering the largest shopping centre in Cornwall.

KITCHEN

An open plan area with an Integral fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, a four ring electric hob and oven. An expresso coffee machine, toaster.

LOUNGE AND DINING AREA

Three seater sofa, lounge sofa seat, coffee table, Flatscreen TV with Freeview and Netflix (guest uses their own Netflix account). BOSE music centre, side table and lamps. The lounge patio doors fold back to allow access onto the large balcony to capture the stunning sea and coastal views.

MASTER BEDROOM

Relaxing stay and breathtaking views

Our recent stay with 32 to one lusty glaze was amazing! From start to finish we was given a brilliant service by David in helping me book and organise the stay, and I am very grateful. The apartment was wonderful with breathtaking views, and in a beautiful location. We cannot wait to return again soon. Thank you again.

Great Location

Tha apartment was in such a great location with just a short walk into town and a great view from the balcony. We were a family of 5 adults and found the apartment quite spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked and a nice big dining table. We were also pleasantly surprised that they had camping chairs and a windbreaker that you could borrow to take to the beach. We were all very happy with this choice of apartment.

Fabulous location.

As residents of newquay we chose this property as our son and grandson were visiting from Australia. They and we loved it! The only down side was a nuisance neighbour who admitted she had put tape around an outside fire door so she couldn’t hear it ‘close’…a danger in itself to other residents - we did report it to the letting agent - even knocked on our door to tell us how to ‘keep quiet’ by using the handle a certain way! She was an everyday nuisance. It spoilt nothing as we aren't a noisy family. Laughing we think was a problem to her too - just be aware and treat it accordingly. Our family from over the pond thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we enjoyed being together in such a lovely place. The housekeeping to the letting agents were very approachable and helpful. We had a problem with the heating but it was dealt with efficiently. Would certainly recommend. The views are amazing.

Top spot!

Possibly one of the best views in Newquay and lovely apartment. We stayed as a family of 4 and we all loved it. Perfect location for both Lusty Glaze, Porth and Tolcarne beaches with the best Chippie in Newquay just around the corner (Francine's). The apartment itself is spacious, quiet nice decor, parking space right outside door and the storage facility for our wetsuits and beach gear was really handy. All modcons included which was great apart from a clothes horse! Would thoroughly recommend and only minor points of improvements would be: It would be nice to have had the vacuum emptied before we arrived and a few tiny bits of maintenance needed (carpet stain, paint in ensuite, faulty blind in bedroom) but nothing to put us off coming back again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Fabulous apartment in a great location

We couldn’t fault this apartment. It’s in a great location with a fantastic view over the ocean. Short walk to Lusty Glaze and Porth beaches and Newquay. Spotlessly clean and the bottle of Prosecco and milk were a lovely surprise. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in this apartment.

Lovely week in Lusty Glaze

The location is fabulous. We stayed in the area last year. The apartment was lovely and well presented in the main. Two cleanliness items let it down. Lots of greasy finger marks on the fridge door and other kitchen cupboards and the bifold doors were very dirty.

2 weeks in a "luxury" apartment!

We ere very disapppointed when we arrived to find that there was a layer of dust on the kitchen units, the tables and on the tops of the pictures. The cleaner clearly forgot to do these. The hob and oven felt dated, why does the hob not light up where the rings are? The beds were not great, the mattresses being the problem for us. The water in the taps never got cold, nor hot, just varied between luke cool and quite warm. The washing up towell, of which there was just one, was thin and so did not dry the pots too well There were no kitchen scissors. The windows have not been cleaned for waht looked like quite a long time , this stopped us from enjoying the views. Will not be coming again

Stay late august3

Booked due to disabled relative and lift access and level access shower. If marketing for disabled , I would consider repositioning bed in bedroom with ensuite as it does not have disabled access round the foot of the bed, but this is a minor point. Another minor point is the overwheming heat in the lift lobby and stairwells. Must be lovely in the winter. Depsite the above we had a wonderful stay. The flats facilities were wonderful. The balcony was a real hit with my visually impaired sister who was able to spend a large amount of time out there listening to the sounds and the seas as well as some outstanding sunsets.location was good too. The bifold doors were an added bonus as well. Only a short walk to tesco express and pharmacies etc. Would definitely return for another stay although was a bit more expensive than we usually pay but about what we expected in these covid days and the quality of the apartment. Would highly recommend for a stay. Was sad to leave

Beautiful view, smart, clean, well equipped

The apartment had a fabulous view and in a great location to walk to the beach and shops. Parking was easy and it was great to have a cycle store. Some lovely treats were left for us and the kitchen was really well equipped. Can't fault it!

Wonderful property and excellent location

I cannot fault this property. We arrived to a wonderful welcome basket of goodies. The apartment was spotlessly clean, kitchen well stocked and beds very comfortable. The balcony is to die for - exactly like the photo. Town centre only a few minutes walk and Tesco metro over the road.

No 32, 1 Lusty Glaze

Nice quiet location with great sea views. Mostly ok but just a few things to point out to the owners. The washing machine sounds like it’s about to give out. It makes a terrible rattling noise at times. The window in the lounge seems to be stuck closed and we could have down with the ventilation on sunny days as it was too windy to open the folding doors, so we just baked. Some of the furniture ie coffee table could do with a clean (glass) and repaint as it’s quite chipped and let’s things down. We felt the kitchen was reasonably well equipped but could do with better knives ie steak knives as the others struggled to cut through some things. Also a whisk and a grater would be handy. Overall though a lovely stay .

Great apartment with wonderful views

Great apartment with wonderful views. All rooms very clean but was a little disappointed with kitchen equipment ie cups mugs cutlery which hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Crumbs on dining chairs. All sorted with a quick clean. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. Sadly the weather was not great so the lack of balcony furniture ready to use was not a problem. (It’s stored in a cage across the car park). We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this lovely apartment again as it’s also in a perfect location with shops and restaurants close by.

Lusty glaze

Despite the terrible weather we had a nice week. The apartment gives a good view of the bay and good access to the beach. Communication with the manager was easy and she was kind and helpful.
