Great Family Beach House in Wild Dunes. Short Walk to Beach and Pool

Newly remodeled two-story home in gated Wild Dunes Resort. Short walk to beach and neighborhood pool. Spacious open floor plan with NEW KITCHEN in 2020, NEW BATHROOMS 2023, large rocking chair front porch and screened porch.

The house has 3 bedrooms, all with ceiling fans; a large living room with a 50 inch flat screen tv, a large dining room that seats 8 and a sunroom perfect for curling up with your favorite book. The main bedroom has a queen bed with a full private bath and French doors to the screened porch. The second bedroom, with a queen bed shares a full hall bath with the third bedroom, furnished with two twin beds. The second bedroom also has French doors leading out to the screened porch. The sunroom upstairs has a queen-size sleeper sofa with doors for privacy and is right next to the upstairs full bath. All new mattresses 2021.

The house has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a new induction range, quality pots and pans and a wide assortment of utensils. There is a large front porch with rockers and a private screened-in porch. The beach is just a short walk away and we provide a beach cart for your use, 6+ beach chairs, a beach umbrella and sand toys. There is also a gas grill. For inside activities, there are plenty of board games, books, puzzles and a smart TV for the entire family to enjoy. WIFI is included.

Location:
Located just a 25 minute drive from historic Charleston, there are countless sites to see, places to shop, and great dining. Wild Dunes Resort is known for its two championship resort golf courses, its beautiful beaches, great tennis and laid back lifestyle. Wild Dunes is a gated community with 24 hr. security patrol.

Perfect home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Claudia was WONDERFUL and everyone in the wedding party that stayed in other places on the Island was envious of our location. I Highly recommend.

This property is the perfect location for all things. Short walk to the beach (maybe 5 mins in total) with everything you could possibly need. Uber rides to sullivans island and Dowtown charleston were a breeze. We were a small bachelorette party looking for a cozy stay close to the beach. It delivered in every way! The owner is EXTREMELY helpful and answered every question in such a timely manner. Everything was super clean and ALL the comforts of home were thought of! We couldn’t be happier and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great family vacation

House was lovely. Walk to the beach wasn’t too long for 2 small children ages 2 and 5. Kitchen is well equipped - we eat in most nights! Nice linens we had a good time!

Great House - Just as Advertised!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! I have never stayed anywhere as thoroughly stocked as this house was - it had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach, and being able to use the pool was a nice bonus, too. Communication with the owner/checking in couldn't have been easier. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay!

The home was perfect for two families with three young children. Well equipped kitchen and good communal space. Really enjoyed the pool too. Beach was a bit of a walk, but not terrible. Would probably rent a golf cart next time.

After Wedding downtime.

Wonderful place after a week of Wedding preparation. Amazing beach amenities. The Ninja tent and Tommy Bahama beach chairs a wonderful surprise. Unit very clean and in a very good area. Strongly recommend.

Nice Vacation

I was so happy that it was actually a short walk to the pool and to the beach. House is great. We did not cook much but the kitchen was nice. We left the house in as good a condition as we found it, even organized the beach stuff (removed some trash someone left) and cleaned with the bartender keep cleanser a stained pan from the prior renter. Followed all the rules, including for trash, recycle and on departure. I would stay here again and very much appreciated the owner reaching out before our stay.

The location was perfect, in a lovely neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. Claudia has outfitted her beautiful house with all the extras to make it a comfortable stay. Nice towels, plenty of beach chairs, soaps, etc. She gave a quick response to any questions we had. It was a wonderful week!

Girls Beach Weekend

We booked this property for a girls trip and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house is very modern and extremely clean. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The house was so close to the beach and had all beach amenities we could ask for (chairs, umbrellas, etc). Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations and made for a great girls weekend!

We loved our stay in Pelican Bay. This is our second trip back to this house. We love how close the house is to the beach. It’s in a private community so it’s very quiet. Love the updated bathrooms. The house had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back to the beach.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Gorgeous, large, and well maintained property in a fabulous community. Our six family members loved the vacation because we each had space to ourselves when we wanted that and space to come together for togetherness and meals. the large kitchen provided space to cook together. The screened-in space off two of the bedrooms provided a terrific space for quiet conversations and reading. There was space to park a 7-passenger SUV, a full-size sedan, and an 8-passenger SLV. Close proximity to the beach and private community pool were extremely convenient. The herd of 6 deer that wandered through each night was a special treat. We all highly recommend this property.

We are originally from the Midwest so when we moved to North Carolina almost 20 years ago, we were thrilled to be a few hours drive from the beach. We had always dreamed of owning our own beach house and this house in Pelican Bay is just perfect. We are looking forward to enjoying our time there and to sharing this amazing house so others can enjoy it too.

Why they chose this property

We've been coming to Wild Dunes with our family for the past 20 years. We love to be at the beach and so close to Charleston at the same time. We had stayed at a Pelican Bay house that we'd rented through VRBO and just thought it was the perfect spot. So when we found this beautiful, well maintained house on the market, we just had to have it. The previous owners have been renting this property for years with great reviews. Our goal is to continue to provide a great experience when you rent this beautiful house.
