Beautiful property with exceptional views
We very much enjoyed our stay,. the accommodation is classy and cosy with beautiful views of the sea. The owners have done a fabulous job of the refurbishment, and there is everything you need for a relaxing break.

Beautiful apartment stay with lovely views
Lovely property with great views of Calais and Dunkirk across the channel from the front room,bedroom and patio.Greeted by Tim who gave us a tour of the property and shared his local knowledge.The apartment overall was cosy,spacious and comfortable,extremely clean and well equipped in every room.Good selection of dvds for a rainy day or night in.Greeted everyday by a Robin on the patio and it was lovely to have a drink out there on a sunny afternoon day with the view.Able to walk to Dover and deal over the cliffs and many historic towns within 30 minutes drive.Great pub on the beach with a restaurant and also in the village.Have already recommended this to friends and will be sure to visit again

Excellent in every respect!
We had a wonderful two weeks holiday in this very well presented apartment. Situated in a stunning location, very well suited for walking, the beach and exploring the lovely country side. The apartment is very well equipped with attention to detail, clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A truly great experience.
We were met by the very friendly and delightful proud owner, Jennifer. She showed us around and invited us to just relax and enjoy our stay. The views over the Channel are inspiring, as is the bay itself. There are many coastal walks and a terrific pub on the beach. The property itself is first class, comfortable lounge, spacious kitchen and roomy bedroom. The patio was hard to leave even when it got cold. This is a quality property looked after by people who care about it. Highly recommend.

Perfect equipped apartment and good service
Well located apartment with luxurious furniture, nice equipment and a wonderful view at the sea. There was a good service and helpfulness in advance and throughout the whole week with lots of kind advice and many tips. The location is quiet with lots of opportunities to explore the british countryside by foot or visit cities like cantebrury by car. All in all the accomodation leaves nothing to be desired!

Just Marvelous!
We had a fantastic stay at Calais View. When we arrived, Tim was there to meet us and made us feel welcome right from the beginning. The flat was impeccably clean. Walking in through French windows you enter the lounge, which is furnished to the highest standards and very cosy with its warm creamy colours. You immediately feel at home. In the back of the ground floor there is the large and very well-equipped kitchen. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome basket with lots of nice goodies in it. How very attentive! Thanks a lot, Jenny and Tim. The bedroom on the upper floor belongs to the nicest and cosiest we've ever had. Jenny and Tim put so much effort and care into it to make you feel at ease. Not to forget the views of course. Youn wake up in the mornings and right from your pillow you have the most stunning views through the bay window across the Channel to France. So relaxing to sit up in bed with a nice cup of tea and watching the ferry boats pass by. The same goes for the very pretty and well-kept terrace outside the lounge, which also offers spectacular views. The house is right on the coastal footpath from which you have beautiful walks to Dover (make sure you stop by at Mrs. Knott's tearoom in the lighthouse!!) and towards Deal (you shouldn't miss Walmer Castle with its beautiful gardens, where Wellington spent a lot of his time and where he died). We can also highly recommend the walk from Folkstone to Dover, Sandwich and of course Canterbury. Just marvelous!

The entire experience at Calais View Cottage was fantastic, Immaculately clean, wonderful sea views, quiet and serene and a very friendly host, Jenny. The Welcome basket included a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. Best VRBO we have ever stayed and we have stayed in a LOT

Perfect Dover Coast Escape
Everything about Calais View is perfect. The view is breathtaking from the terrace and the bedroom. The apartment is attractively furnished and full of thoughtful touches, and Jenny could not be nicer. If you want to cook, the kitchen is well stocked.

Stunning apartment, beautifully decorated and clean throughout and the views are just amazing. Didn't want to go home - could have definitely stayed for longer. The apartment has everything you need and more - the owners have obviously put a lot of thought into making this a home from home and as comfortable as possible for guests. The owners were so friendly, provided lots of local information and the welcome pack was very much appreciated - a really nice touch.

What a lovely pastoral sea view experience we had! The house itself is lovely with emphasis on the smallest details - so homely and cosy :) Jenny and Tim were so kind, warm and helpful. The views from the bedroom and the balcony is priceless. On clear days, you can actually see some French land :) We hope to come back again. Highly recommended!

Calais View is one of the nicest holiday rentals that we have ever stayed in and we were delighted to make a return visit last week. The property is in a great location and the views are spectacular, it is stylish and comfortable with high quality fixtures and fittings, lots of thoughtful touches and every home comfort. Jenny and Tim are excellent hosts; friendly, helpful and approachable but never obtrusive. Highly recommended.

Superb stay
Calais View was absolutely perfect. From the moment we booked Jenny and Tim were the perfect hosts, the apartment is superbly located, very tastefully decorated and is immaculate - really cannot recommend it highly enough. The attention to detail on everything from pre-arrival info to new changes that have had to be brought in due to Covid is just incredible. We already can't wait to return!

A break from reality
We decided to take a working break away and base ourselves at the Calais View apartment for a week. What a great place, we took cliff walks, time on the beach, dinners in and out and just sitting back and admiring the view. It was perfect. One of the best locations possible and a very high quality apartment. Jenny and Tim were very good hosts and took extra care to make sure everything was perfect. The internet works very well and easily supported our constant video calls and email demands. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Most special holiday home on the south coast
What a gem we found in Calais View we are already talking about going back. Immediately we felt at home and relaxed. Jenny & Tim the owners really have thought of everything from those little cooking extras, a lovely welcome pack to those extra special bathroom products so you don't have to worry about anything. We arrived late due to car trouble but Tim still went through everything with us so we felt at home straight away and really welcome. Even though it was February we had a couple of sunny mornings sat on the terrace watching the world (on ferries!) go by and we also had the fun of a couple of storms. Go right and you can walk West to Dover and sit as we did watching the sun go down and the port in action and go left and you get to the lovely Deal (we recommend Wellington's for an all day breakfast). Just a wonderful week away all in all, we are coming back most definitely. Lying in bed listening to the sea and watching the sunrise we already miss, and a drink watching the waves down at The Coastguard pub on the beach.
