Charming 1BR Apartment Close to Town and Beaches

This lovely one bedroom apartment is situated on the small complex of Colina Verde (Green Hill). It is one of the most elevated points of Carvoeiro and has stunning town and sea views. All the rooms have a balcony or terrace and enjoy lovely open views. On the roof you have a large, private terrace where you can sunbathe, enjoy an al fresco meal or watch the sun set!

It has an excellent pool area (with a small, shallow kids pool) with showers, changing rooms, WC's and freely available sunbeds.

Very quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to an award winning sandy beach, the village centre and great restaurants. Carvoeiro is set on a particularly attractive stretch of coastline with lovely cliff top walks and hidden sandy coves. Local activities include golf, diving, boating and tennis. If you like to explore, there are lots of other interesting places to visit nearby, including the old historic capital of Silves just 10km away.

Notes on accommodation:
The ample sized bedroom may be made up with a superking bed or twin beds. There is a built in wardrobe and plenty of storage. In the lounge there is a comfortable double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to prepare your own meals. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board and adapter plugs are included. There is ample parking around the property. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.

Outside:
Both the bedroom and lounge have private balconies, each with a small table and two chairs. There is a small sunny terrace off the kitchen, overlooking the swimming pool with a table and 2 chairs. There is also a large, private roof terrace with a lounge area, BBQ, a dining table and four chairs, 2 sun loungers and a bar area with 2 bar stools overlooking the sea...a perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset! There is a lovely shared pool area with large swimming pool and separate children's pool set in well maintained gardens. There is room for a picnic on the grass and facilities include showers, changing rooms with WCs, and sun beds. Colina Verde is a small, quiet development and there is always plenty of room for everyone.

Great flat with beautiful view and good amenities

My partner and I stayed in this flat for five nights and really enjoyed our stay. The inside of flat itself isn’t beautiful but it has two porches and a rooftop from which to enjoy some stunning views. The apartment is on a hill, and the lovely views of the town and sunsets are well worth the effort to the top. We found the flat much more convenient and comfortable than most holiday apartments. It’s spacious for two people, has cooling, a comfy bed and every amenity we needed. We also appreciated that Christina was very friendly and communicative, check in was easy and the pool was an extra bonus. We would definitely stay again if we were ever back in this part of the world again.

Charming, so comfortable and super well equipped

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christina + Mike's superb flat in Carvoeiro. The apartment is lovely and so well equipped for a comfortable stay with superb terraces, lovely pool and the unbeatable private rooftop terrace. Great stay in Carvoeiro!

We had a fabulous stay at this property! Everything beginning with the communication with Christina to check out with Maria, the housekeeper, was seamless. Christina was available promptly to answer any of my questions prior to arriving as well as changing our arrival dates. The property was comfortable (great King size bed), clean and equipped with everything we needed. The distance was a little further from the beach then what we had expected but very doable and we very much appreciated the available parking at the complex. We would certainly consider returning to this property!

Lovely stay in Carvoeira

The property was just as described. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely roof top terrace which we were able to use even in Jan/ Feb. We would love to stay in this property again if the opportunity arises. The cleaner, Maria was very and communications with the hosts was excellent. The complex was really quiet whilst we were there, the pool area looked lovely and well maintained, thought not used by us as we were there in Winter.

Great location and view.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 24 nights. It was just above the bustling small town which was handy for walks into the town. Up and down hill of course:) Carveioro is situated in a great part of Portugal with an opportunity to experience many amazing day trips in the south area. The Algarve is spectacular. We spent our mornings on the living room balcony with a wonderful view overlooking the town and many late afternoons on the wonderful roof top terrace. The bed was comfy and the linens were 5 star. Appreciated having a washing machine with this long of a stay. Christina’s communication was excellent. The living area was adequate. The water temperature in the shower was very hard to control. I know this is out of Christina’s control but thought it was worth mentioning. The neighborhood dogs bark all hours of the day and night. I would suggest bringing earplugs for an uninterrupted nights sleep. We will have very wonderful memories of this fabulous vacation. Thank you. Christina!

Magnifique

Très bel appartement. Nous avons eu de la difficulté à le trouver, un manque d’infos sur le site. Mais la gentillesse de l’hôte, des voisins et de la responsable de l’entretien ont fait toute la différence. Le logement est spacieux, magnifique, bien ensoleillé avec vue sur la mer de la terrasse. Tout l’équipement est présent pour cuisiner. Je recommande fortement.

Amazing apartment

Just returned from a fantastic time in Carvoeiro. The flat was amazing, absolutely perfect. Christina was brilliant with regards to contact and check in etc. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Carvoeiro. The roof top terrace is an added bonus and offers amazing views. Will definitely be back next year!

AMAZING APARTMENT WITH ROOFTOP DECK

So totally enjoyed the rooftop deck and BBQ. This apartment was impeccably clean and the 2 balconies were very comfortable and well utilized. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it

Merveilleuse expérience

Magnifique appartement, très bien placé( malgré une" petite" montée), mais la vue en vaut vraiment la peine, et la nuit en plus d'être frais ( ce qui est un plus a l'argarve) est tout simplement magnifique. L'hôte est très réactionnel et agréable. Maria est également une personne très gentille. Que dire de plus , cet appartement est au top et j'en garde un merveilleux souvenir.

Fantastic apartment!

A really lovely, spacious and well equipped property in a quiet but very central location. We have been visiting Carvoeiro for many years and stayed in a few different villas with family but needed something just for the 2 of us this year and this was perfect. Very tastefully furnished and decorated - and spotlessly clean too! The beautifully furnished roof terrace with its fantastic views was amazing and would be hard to beat! Communication with both Christina and Maria was excellent - both were immediately available when needed and hugely helpful. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Perfect stay

Location, apartment, pool, quiet, private all absolutely perfect. We forgot beach towels but Maria dropped some off for us, so kind. She is the housekeeper who also was able to change her day around and gave us more time on our last day.

V nice complex, above but close to town, steep climb up to apartment won't suit everyone, but pretty quick. Well appointed apartment, neatly configured, the USP the great, well furnished roof terrace, where we spent most of our time when at the apartment. A second long terrace outside bedroom and living area also a bonus. We ate breakfast here quite often. The pool was close, and deserted much of the time, plenty of sunbeds. Weather was brilliant the whole time, so a very good holiday. Maybe a little more instruction? Didn't realise the white card on dining table gave access to pool, which was only a problem once, gate had been open rest of week. Minor. It was a great week, and we hpe to return next year.

We had a great week in the apartment on a lovely small complex. It is a great location close to town and lovely bars & restaurants. The pool was never crowded and plenty of space around if had been busier.

Fabulous stay

Just returned from a great week in this apartment. We’ve rented many over the years and this is one of the best we have stayed in. It’s in a peaceful location, is brilliantly equipped, the bed is super comfy & is just perfect for a relaxing break on the wonderful roof terrace. Communication with Christine was great & I would thoroughly recommend to book it. Thanks for a fab stay.

Très bel appartement, les 3 terrasses sont vraiment un plus . Résidence calme tout en étant à 10 min à pieds du centre et de la plage . Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité😃. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Marvellous!

Lovely well equipped apartment in a good location which completely met our expectations. It was great to have the balconies and the rooftop terrace was fantastic - we watched the sunset from there every night. Christina's communication was exceptional at every stage of the process. All in all I couldn't fault anything.

Luxury at an affordable price

We loved everything about this spacious one bedroom flat at Colina Verde. We stayed there for 8 nights the last week of July. The place was immaculate when we arrived. The owners went out of their way to explain to us how to access the flat in the middle of the night. Communication with them was excellent. We rent a lot of holiday accommodation and this one is one of the best one we have ever stayed in. The many balconies were picturesque and the roof top terrace was the icing on the cake. The flat was very well equipped. We cooked a lot and spent all our evenings on the roof top terrace. The residence pool was big enough to exercice in and often we had the pool to ourselves . The walk to the beach was a pleasure (5-10min) downhill. We usually rent cars but we did not this time because prices have doubled because of Covid. Taxis were reasonably priced . It cost between 5 and 10 Euros to go to the nearby beaches. We highly recommend the boat trip to the caves from Carvaeiro. It was fun! The only disappointment was that there was no welcome drink in the flat when we arrived. It could be that the cleaner forgot to put a bottle of wine in the fridge. It was great to have air conditioning in the bedroom and the lounge. We can recommend this flat without any reservations.

We are Mike, Christina and Skye from Scotland. We have, between us, enjoyed holidays in Carvoeiro for over 30 years! Mike and his family have been going since he was a child and now we love spending time there in our apartment as a family!

Why they chose this property

We bought this apartment as a holiday rental and somewhere to spend our family holidays every year as we love Carvoeiro - there really is something for everybody! Skye loves the beach and we really enjoy relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine and watching the sun set!

We fell in love with this apartment because of the great, quiet location, only a 5 minute walk from the town and sandy beach.

The apartment has many terraces offering different views of the town, ocean, communal swimming pool and small wooded area - you will be spoilt for choice!
