Blarney Bay Bliss

Property was PERFECT for our overnight adults and dayside visitors of all ages (pre-teens though 80's) with gentle sloping yard, beach and shaded portions of well-maintained dock. House was well-appointed, clean, modern and absolutely user-friendly. Parking was more than adequate and easy to maneuver around. Deck for overview of the family and yard for the mutts was icing on the cake. Management company was too good for words. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful family friendly vacation

We had a wonderful time staying on Lake Norman in this beautiful home. It was well equipped and perfect for our two families. The kayaks and fire pit were both a welcome bonus and the quiet quaint neighborhood was perfect for relaxing.

The property was just as appeared online with everything needed for the stay except food. The only inconvenient thing was the power and water went out (widespread outtage so no fault of mngmt) and there were no flashlights and it was evening on our last night so packing and cleaning had to wait until morning, with 10am checkout it was very hectic.

Great place, over communicated.

House and amenities were very nice and exactly as described. Property is run through Stay Lake Norman. They called, emailed, and texted 10 times to confirm our plan and activities. This was way too frequent and was a nuisance coming up to our travel dates. I recommend Stay Lake Normal stop such frequent outreach.

Post Wedding Relaxation

We were in the area for a family wedding and booked the house to relax after the festivities. The house worked great for us; the varied seating areas were beautiful and comfortable. We could play games, sit and talk, or just relax, either inside or outside. We highly recommend renting this house.

Overbearing neighbors

Right as we were settling in, the neighbor walked over warning us not to let our dog go on their property (which he hadn’t even gone near) and then followed by them screaming at us from afar. It was just a bad way to start vacation honestly. The house looks much bigger in photos. It was fully stocked and clean though. Dock was old and splintering with nails popping out. The water was nice and deep for swimming. Management was helpful and responsive throughout the stay.

The house is smaller than depicted. No landscaping, pier and dock are in very bad shape

They need to replace pier and dock. Boards are loose and nail are sticking up. Three of us tripped. The house should have been cleaner. The sofa is terrible. The bedrooms were fine. Kitchen is very small and not a very good place to sit together.. The boat was terrific Like new.

Lovely Lake Cabin

My friends and I loved our stay here! The property was just as described. We cooked all our meals over the weekend, so we really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (even including lots of herbs and spices). The grill on the deck was fully stocked with two propane tanks. We also enjoyed using the fire pit, although we had to bring our own firewood. One of the only downsides we found was that there was only one kayak instead of two, but it was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely return here again!

Family Getaway at Lake Norman

The property had beautiful views and the Pontoon Boat that we rented at the house and the kayaks that were provided allowed for a lot of water fun on the lake. The lagoon that the house is on allowed the whole family to enjoy water activities. We brought tubes for the water, our kids brought SUPs and we rented waverunners one day from the local marina and were able to dock that at the house for the day. The tubes and knee boards that were provided with the Boat were perfect. We also were able to enjoy the Waterfront Restaraunts with the Pontoon Boat. Having the boat available at the house everyday for us to use whenever we wanted to was one of the best features of the house. When we weren’t on the water, the pool table and bbq were great for keeping everyone entertained. The only negative things that we experienced were the noise from the construction next door that interrupted the otherwise quiet mornings on the lake. The Refrigerator took awhile to get everything cool when we first loaded it, but it was fine later. The downstairs steps were a little steep for walking down, and we had to call to get the correct key code for the house when we got there. But our whole family had a blast and we had a great vacation with our family of 11 in an awesome place. The place was clean and nicely decorated and provided everything we needed. The laundry was helpful. The large table for dining outside was perfect for our family.

The Lake Norman vacation rental market loved this new offering, as the approximately 200 vacation homes in the area at that time were mostly just older lake homes that owners we not using and calling them vacation homes. Over the next couple of years, we have continued to grow into a "one-stop, sexy-house shop" and in full swing with the best designers and contractors in place to offer what luxury vacation guests wanted and demanded based on market feedback.

Switch forward to today, StayLakeNorman has in their control the strongest performing vacation rental homes on Lake Norman. We also have a boat rental company and concierge services to help complete what luxury guests want in their vacations. Our staff includes Reservationists, Housekeeping Managers, Maintenance folks, Quality Control teams, and third-party housekeepers, private chefs, massage therapists, etc.
