Wow want an amazing place, the moment you walk in it felt like a home, the accommodation was absolutely spotless and well stocked with everything you could need, there was a Christmas tree and decks up it was wonderful. The hot tub was a real pleasure, even when it was raining.
The location is absolutely perfect, close enough to everything but far enough away to have peace and quiet. You couldn’t wish for anything better. So a massive thank you
Very quiet, fantastic place to stay. We will definately be back.

North Devonshire Escape Hustle & Bustle
Immaculate and well thought of, furnished to a high standard, without taking away the Rustic Charm of being a former Farm Barn.
You have a choice of a Hot tub outside or the large Jacquizi bath indoors.
The Nintendo Wii brought back memories from childhood. A unique classic games console.
The Games Room was awesome, playing Air Hockey and Pool. There is entertainment for all; a library of Board Games, Books, Kids Toys and Timeline of the Barn Conversions.
The play area with Trampoline, Swings and picnic benches was sweet. Could play Badminton, football or another sport/activity on the lawn.
The panoramic view are stunning, shame didn't get round to venturing further along the trials (weather was not great, needed Wellies).
Love to return to this venue whether it being as couple or with a group. A fantastic Country retreat, which is ideally located to many of North Devon's wonderful Beaches, Stately Homes & Gardens/National Parks, Historical villages and Attractions.
Lastly the Old Gentleman and his adorable friendly dog, were very welcoming and helpful.
We have just returned home after a wonderful relaxing stay at Hildrew farm and cottages. The cottage was spotless and had all that you needed for a self catering stay. Lots to do within driving distance. Would highly recommend.
This lovely cottage was a perfect, out of the way , relaxing , stress free , wonderful place to stay. It was near enough to the local amenities to get a full shop with out having to go in to a big town. We even made some friends with the sheep. The wi fi was a little sparce, but that wasnt an issue for us. A lovely stay thank you
Well what can I say, the cottage is absolutely stunning, the hot tub late at night is amazing especially on a clear night. We was welcomed we a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate which was a lovely touch for our first break away together. The dogs are soo friendly and as big dog lovers it was lovely. Maureen was also amazing, nothing is to much trouble, and to have a message on our last night thanking us for staying, we should be thanking you for such a memorable first weekend away together. Thank you xx
Lovely cottage, very well equipped.
Great location for exploring beaches. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day.
The views are amazing, the sunset from the chestnut tree is a must.
If you're lucky enough you'll get a visit from a lovely little dog whi pops by to say hi amd have some fussing.
Overall a great escape. Maureen was very responsive to calls and messages. The prosecco in the cottage on arrival was a nice surprise. Thank you.
We look forward to another visit.
The property was immaculately clean and very well equipped. Hot tub was great and protected and if you are lucky, the friendliest neighbors dogs may pop over to say hi. Place has a WII and some DVDs which were great during rain. Robes and towels were provided. Owner was very helpful and very kind and gave good advice of places to visit. Thanks for a great stay.
A great relaxing, tranquil break. The barn is very well equipped, clean with lovely rolling countryside views. Very accommodating hosts. The games room was a great bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you!

The accommodation was lovey and in a great setting for getting away from it all. The hot tub was great for watching the stars and we were able to have a great few days to relax and recharge. Will definitely be returning.
A former barn with pretty rural views. The accommodation was perfect. Friendly hosts and even friendlier farm dogs! We enjoyed the hot tub after days exploring Lynton, Clovelly and Ilfracombe. Would stay again with no hesitation.
had a wonderful stay here. down a farm track. very quiet. hot tub was just the job after a day's walking. underfloor heating in the bathroom was an added luxury. comfortable bed. good communication from host. highly recommended.
The converted barn was clean and very comfortable, hot tub was hot and ready to jump into on arrival.
We had a very warm welcome , and everything ready for a cream tea, scones were fresh and delicious.

What a great find. Good pubs and shops nearby. We met Stan who was very friendly. The hot tub was a bonus. We would revisit too and recommend. The owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
Booking process was drawn out, it took a few days to get the actual confirmation. Ideally situated to access all areas of North Devon, plenty of things to do in the local area, excellent local pubs with good food. Accommodation was very clean, had everything you needed - a nice touch was the fresh cream tea provided by the owners on arrival. Hot tub with nice views of the surrounding countryside. Location of the cottage is actually on a working farm, great to be welcomed by the ducks at the end of the day. Great escape! :)
