About this property
Heathy Lea Barn/Chatsworth Estate
The Barn
Part of the Heathy Lea Collection
Heathy Lea Barn is situated just inside the northern edge of Chatsworth Park and has far reaching views over this stunning parkland scene and the hills beyond. The barn has been furnished and decorated to an excellent standard, combining elements of traditional comfort with contemporary design. Outside, the barn has access to its own garden area overlooking the park, complete with barbecue and garden furniture.
Heathy Lea Barn is attached to Heathy Lea House and is accessed by an external flight of stone steps.
The three of the Healthy Lea Collection properties are converted from within the former eighteenth century farmyard at Healthy Lea on the edge of Chatsworth Park. The grounds of Healthy Lea open directly into the park where guests are free to walk any time (with their dogs on a lead) through the 1100 acres of Chatsworth Park which owes much of its appearence to Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. Look out for the abandoned millstones on the rock edges, the knarled oak woodland, and the resident herds of red and fallow deer as you walk the short distance (20-30 mins) to Chatsworth house & garden.
The Heathy Lea Cottages can all be booked alongside each other providing accommodation for up to 8 guests.
Dogs are welcomed at a rate of £35 per dog per stay, please advise our reservations team when making your booking that you shall be bringing a dog with you.
Why not enhance your stay with a visit to Chatsworth, with over 30 rooms, a farmyard and playground as well as 105 acres of gardens?
