Wharfe View Cottage, Bolton Abbey Estate
Part of the Yorkshire Collection on the Bolton Abbey Estate
Wharfe View is a traditional stone built farm house located 10 minutes from The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa which has been exquisitely renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining and enhancing many of the original features. The house sleeps six guests in two large double and one large twin-bedded room. Outside, you are will find a spacious courtyard and spectacular views across the Wharfe Valley and beyond.
Accommodation
Ground Floor
Entrance - Small entrance hall with stone flagged floor and storage for outdoor clothing and footwear. The entrance hall links to the kitchen and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Cloakroom - Large cloakroom located off the main entrance hall which also doubles up as en-suite for the ground floor double bedroom.
Farmhouse Kitchen – The farmhouse kitchen has been fitted to the highest quality with granite work surfaces, double sink with waste disposal, fridge freezer, range cooker and dishwasher. A large farmhouse dining table seating up to 10 guests is located within the kitchen and is ideal for any meal with family or friends.
Living Room – The living room is a perfect place to relax with stunning views. A large seating area comprising of a large sofa and four singles chairs with the central focal point being its impressive fireplace with log burning stove. The living room also has a large flat screen TV, impressive artwork and access onto the outdoor terrace and gardens via French doors.
Bedroom 3 – A spacious room with double metal framed bed and adequate storage space within a wardrobe and bedside units. The room offers panoramic views across the Wharfe Valley and beyond which can be enjoyed from the room’s window seat. The adjacent bathroom is bright and spacious with WC, wash basin and a gorgeous walk in shower.
First Floor
Master Bedroom – The master bedroom is truly spectacular with a gorgeous super king size four-poster bed for you to relax in during your stay. The bedroom has plenty of storage space within a large mirrored wardrobe. Enjoying views to the North and North West across and along the Wharfe Valley the room boast views you’ll love waking up to.
Bathroom – Doubling up as the bathroom for the master bedroom it offers a WC, wash basin, and bath with shower as well as underfloor heating.
Bedroom 2 – Again offering spectacular panoramic view the second bedroom has two delightful large single beds with en-suite bathroom again is spacious with a WC, walk in shower, wash basin and underfloor heating.
Outside Space
The outside spaces around the cottage have been landscaped and built for you to enjoy Wharfe View Cottages breath taking location and panoramic views. At the rear of the cottage you can enjoy its landscaped garden and stone flagged terrace with seating area in complete awe of your surroundings and the cottages location. Adequate parking is available outside the cottage for up to four vehicles.
Dogs are welcomed at a rate of £35 per dog per stay, please advise our reservations team when making your booking that you shall be bringing a dog with you.
