The apartment features a romantic bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it an ideal choice for couples.
Bedding and towels are provided, along with shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, and body lotion. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning, a coffee machine, a toaster, and a hair dryer.
Staying here feels like stepping back in time. At **Portuguese Soul Alfama**, you will be immersed in a stunning environment with ornate golden décor, intricate ceilings, vintage furniture, and striking crystal chandeliers.
Portuguese Soul Alfama, the perfect place to nourish both your mind and soul.
The property consists of four apartments (I, II, III, and IV), available for individual rental (with capacities of 10, 5, 2, and 2 people, respectively) or as a whole (accommodating up to 19 people). If your desired dates are unavailable, please check the availability of our other apartments. If you would like to combine multiple apartments to accommodate a larger group, feel free to inquire about pricing and availability.
Since the apartment is located in a historic area, cars are not permitted on the narrow street. However, the nearest point for a taxi or Uber drop-off (at the Fado Museum) is just a 3-minute walk away.
For parking, you can park near the Fado Museum (free at night), which is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Alternatively, there is parking available at Campo das Cebolas, about a 10-minute walk away. We believe a car won’t be necessary, as many attractions are within walking distance.
We offer self check-in, with entry codes sent to guests before their arrival. Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request, subject to availability, at no extra cost.
The apartment is equipped with a home alarm system and a safe box for your convenience.
st emblematic quarter and one of the most rewarding for walkers and photographers, and where you find the most authentic Fado houses. It was settled by the Romans and Visigoths, but it was the Moors who gave the district its atmosphere and name (Alhama means springs of the bath). Because its foundation is dense bedrock, it survived the 1755 earthquake, and a walk through this old-fashioned residential neighborhood is now a step back in time.
It is a village within a city still made up of narrow streets, tiny squares, churches, and whitewashed houses with tile panels and balconies adorned with pots of flowers and drying laundry.
The district is of unbelievable beauty, and it must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
NOTE: Attention for June!
Lisbon is known for its June street parties and Alfama is the heart of those festivities. Throughout old Lisbon, there are "arraiais" (old word for open-air party), where local restaurants set up shop on the streets and barbecue and grill sardines, etc. and people go drinking and dancing. On the nights of the 9th, 12th 23rd and 27th of June, the narrow streets become extremely crowded with local parties. Although it is a great atmosphere, it is very loud well into the night. If you want peace in June, Alfama is not the indicated neighborhood for you. However, if you are looking to be in the center of the action, then there is, without a doubt, no better place.
