About this property
Serpenti @Locappart - Authentic and hype district
A charming and cosy apartment in the heart of the Monti district.
This third-floor apartment (50 m2) was recently refurbished. The parquet flooring and exposed ceilng beams lend the apartment its charm. There is no elevator in the building.
All the rooms are off of the front hall (5.3 m²), which has a hat rack, a chair, and an armoire.
The living room (27.9 m² - west facing) has two large windows overlooking the street and is divided into two spaces:
-the dining area includes a table, a bench, four chairs, a bookshelf, a stereo, and a TV
-the living room area comprises two armchairs, two single sofa-beds, a coffee table, two lamps, two wooden cabinets, and numerous paintings
The kitchen (4.85 m² – east facing) is longer than it is wide and overlooks the yard. It is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (gas stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher).
The bedroom (9.4 m² - east facing) has a small window overlooking the yard and the building staircase. There are two single beds, two bedside tables, several paintings, two bedside lamps, a bamboo secretary desk, a chair, and a closet.
The bathroom (2.6 m²) has a sink, shower, and toilet.
A multilingual agent will welcome you on-site for your arrival and will be there for your departure.
The famous Monti hill, at the foot of Santa Maria Maggiore, is one of the oldest districts in Rome. It owes its name to the fact that it spans the Esquiline and Viminal Hills as well as parts of the Quirinal and Caelian Hills. Here, local craft shops are scattered throughout a maze of narrow, inclined streets. Fierce rivals of the Trasteverins, the inhabitants have proudly safeguarded the city’s identity throughout the centuries.
The apartment itself is situated on one of these narrow streets lined with restaurants and shops in the picturesque Monti district. The tastefully decorated apartment is in a historic building near public transportation (Metro Line B and bus no. 75 or 117) and within walking distance of the Colosseum and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni on Via Nazionale (15 minutes).
Metro Line B (Cavour)
Sleeping details:
-2 single sofa-beds (77 x 175 cm)
-2 single beds (90 x 190 cm)
Notes:
Linens and towels provided.
Soap is not provided
Given the number of restaurants along the Via dei Serpenti, it can get a little noisy in the apartment in the evenings.
The bedroom is quiet but gets little natural light.
Cleaning fees include also laundry service (sheets, towels, dishtowel) as well as costs for water, gas and electricity.
A mandatory tourist tax due to Rome city’s legislation will be asked to your arrival (3,50 € / night / pers for +10 years old for the first 10 nights , free for child under 10 years old).
