We had a really lovely stay in the lodge, it was very luxurious too. Clean and comfortable too, hot tub was great especially after our walk up Jacobs Ladder. Will definitely be back in the future, will recommend to friends and family too.

Valentines trip for two

My partner and I spent our first valentines day away in this lovely lodge and we had such an amazing time away and enjoyed everything about it. The lodge was so nice and the location was great and the cider barn at the entrance was a lovely place to go and meet the locals and drink some lovely cider too. We didn't want to leave as it was so quite and peaceful and it was just what we both needed in our busy life's just some simple relaxing time away.

Very nice lodge

The Levels is a lovely lodge, there are a few things that need some attention ie lose sink tap, but that's the same in most places. Comfort I put 4 as I did not think the couch was its way too low to the floor so had a problem getting up from it. The bed was very comfortable slept really well, hot tub was very good at just the right height that I could get in and out as have slight mobility problems.

A well needed break

Beautiful accommodation and location. Quiet and picturesque. Had everything we needed. Even milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was easy to use and lovely to relax in. I would definitely recommend.

Mixed Bag - Lovely but a few bits need fixing

The cabin was beautiful, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, water, fresh milk in the fridge and cookies was a really lovely touch. Everything was presented beautifully, even the handbook which had all recommendations of location amenities, from taxies to pubs and take away with all menus and numbers. However, upon closer inspection there was lots of dust and cobwebs, hair still in the shower etc. Several handles broken and temperamental lights. When we arrived we were asked to let them know of any damages before our stay so that we could not be 'blamed' / charged for them - each item we mentioned they were already aware of - it felt as though they knew of these damages but didn't actually want to fix any of them. The hot tub was nice, the cover on our one was too big and didn't fit which meant during the night it was constantly trying to get its self back up to temperature. Ours backed onto a single lane road, there was no privacy and people walking / driving by were able to see you. Another review mentioned this from last year and the owners responded to say they had put extra trees / bushes in for privacy but I don't think this was the case. The kitchen, had everything you could think of, right through to baking equipment. Whilst this is good for a self catering cabin - it did mean that there was no cupboard space left for our food. On the whole it is a lovely and peaceful place to stay, and the location was excellent for us.

Perfection!

The most amazing place we have stayed! Located in beautiful countryside, The Levels at Strawberryfield Park created the perfect setting for a wonderful and memorable holiday. Our accommodation was so clean, well equipped and absolutely stunning. The attention to detail with finishing touches, high quality furnishings and fittings truly made this a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Upon arrival at the accommodation there was a welcome pack along with a bottle of wine, cookies and handy toiletries. The very comfortable super king size bed enabled us to get the perfect nights sleep ready for the next day. The hot tub was a perfect addition to be able to relax and enjoy quality time in a very special setting. Having read some reviews prior to our visit, the nearby county road did not interrupt the tranquility. The traffic was very minimal and it was actually lovely to witness farmers transferring their livestock a couple of times; it brought a sense of country life to the holiday. All the staff - including the owner - genuinely care about everything being just perfect. Having holidayed in many different places in the UK, it’s unlike anything we’ve experienced before, enhanced with there being great places to eat, drink and visit nearby. We especially enjoyed the Kings Head in Wells in particular. We had the most friendly welcome and the food was good value and delicious. Another great find for us was Cafe Gorge in the nearby village of Cheddar, where there is an array of sweet and savoury treats to eat in or take-away. All of this combined, made for a perfect break. A massive thank you to every single one of you lovely people on the team, we will definitely be returning at the next opportunity we have.
