About this property
Trewhiddle Villa 13 - a trewhiddle that sleeps 7 guests in 4 bedrooms
Having undergone an extensive refurbishment in recent years, Villa 13 has reopened it's beautiful doors to guests looking for the ultimate in holiday luxury when staying at Trewhiddle Village. This property now features a separate boot and utility room, complete with washing machine and drier, and a new and improved private outdoor deck.
The contemporary interiors draw upon a coastal colour palette, that creates a calm, inviting space that tastefully reflects the nautical heritage of Cornwall. The four bedrooms comfortably accommodate a large family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) or a group of 6 adults, with quality linens and whisper-soft beds.
On the ground floor, there is;
A separate boot room and utility room. A contemporary kitchen diner, complete with quartz worktops, double AEG oven, large 5-ring AEG gas hob, fridge freezer, separate drinks fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. A large open-plan living area which leads via a large patio door, onto the extended, private deck and lawn. The rear garden is totally secure. Boasting the latest technology (free Wi-Fi, Flat-Screen TV, LG Sound Bar and a PS4), even on the occasional rainy day there's plenty to keep everyone entertained, whilst the addition of a modern gas fire, means Cornish winter breaks have never seemed so cosy. An en-suite bedroom with King-size bed, separate small sitting area with wall mounted TV and bi-fold doors opening directly on to the patio. This bedroom comes with an en-suite shower room. A gorgeous 'bunk-room' featuring a sturdy Stompa bunk-bed for excitable little ones (suitable for children only). A separate downstairs bathroom with large shower.
Heading upstairs:
The Master en-suite bedroom features a wall mounted TV, generous cupboard space and a comfy Super-King bed. The large fully tiled en-suite bathroom offers a generous bath and a separate power shower, along with a modern vanity unit. A further en-suite guest room with King-size bed and en-suite shower room.
Please note that whilst the villa isn't available for guests to rent with pets, it is not suitable for anyone with a severe pet allergy, as pets have previously stayed in the property.
The villas themselves include access to over 120 acres of beautiful woodland valley, children's communal playground and gorgeous meadows, which you are welcome to explore at your leisure during your stay. In terms of location, Trewhiddle proves the perfect blend of peaceful countryside living and incredible coastal adventures.
With the breath-taking beaches of Porthpean and Pentewan less than 5 minutes' drive away, guests here can find themselves sea-side in no time, paddling in the famously gentle waters of South Cornwall, tucking into an indulgently creamy Cornish ice-cream and generally taking in the warming rays of sunshine. Pentewan village and beach in particular is easily accessible from our spacious villas, with a bike/walking trail leading directly to the beach through beautiful woodland, 2 minutes from our entrance.
For young explorers (or those young at heart!) the iconic tourist attractions of the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both less than 15 minutes' drive from the stunning wooded valley of Trewhiddle. Here you can find world-famous botanical wonders, with an incredible calendar of events to occupy even the most un-outdoorsy family members!
Providing the perfect base camp to explore South Cornwall, Trewhiddle is just a few miles from the quaint fishing villages of Mevagissey, Charlestown and Fowey where you can stock up on mouth-watering self-catering treats, tuck into freshly-caught fish and chips and browse the quaint boutiques that line the cobbled streets.
