Situated just a stone’s throw from famous Canal Street and Skipton high street, this cosy, characterful cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Skipton has to offer. Comfortably furnished, with beautiful beams throughout, Mallard’s Nest makes the perfect home from home. When you first walk through the door, you enter the open plan living space, complete with all the amenities you will need to enjoy a holiday in Yorkshire. This end-terrace cottage offers lovely views of the canal from the downstairs windows and the views get even better upstairs, where you will find two immaculate bedrooms, comfortably furnished with your comfort in mind.
Right from the doorstep, you can enjoy a wonderful walk along the canal, where you pass beneath the famous, 900 year old Skipton Castle walls and in to Skipton Woods. A multitude of shops, restaurants and pubs can be found in the quaint town centre where you will be absolutely spoilt for choice. Embsay Steam Railway is only a mile away and operates regularly towards picturesque Bolton Abbey, set alongside the River Wharfe. The Yorkshire Dales National Park, Harrogate, York and the Lake District National Park are all within easy driving distance. This really is the perfect Yorkshire cottage for couples, friends and small families. Shop 400 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
