Amazing trip

We had stayed at this resort many times in the past so knew it would be fabulous. However, I'd never booked through VRBO before and was a bit nervous. There was no reason to be - everything was seamless. I would not hesitate to book with this owner in the future and the property is perfect for any range of ages. We have been with our kids when very little, elementary aged and now as teens - it was perfect every time. We have also been with grandparents who also loved the property. It really is the perfect set up for everybody.

Best location in Poipu

Perfect location for adults and children! Great layout of unit. Comfortable for 2 couples plus kids. Nice to have food and drinks available on property for times you’re feeling too lazy to leave the beach!

We found the location very accessible for all of us—retirees, one of which is wheelchair bound. All the pools and jacuzzis provided enjoyment for everyone with hoyer-style lifts.

Very happy with decision

Very good location on the island. Very good floor plan, especially for four. Kitchen had everything to dine in while property had resort amenities. Room location views are the only potential negative. Super happy with how this worked out!

Terrible property manager

Marriot is first class, but the property manager for this unit lied about it being ocean view, was unresponsive to questions about checking in, and was unresponsive to calls about charging for ocean view. If you don’t care about ocean view the place is great.

Spectacular in every way

This was our first time in Kauai and this was the perfect landing spot for us. The grounds were amazing, access to the beach and all activities couldn’t have been better, and the villa was lovely. Having our own kitchen made a huge difference for us. If there was one thing in that could have been better it would be having a few more kitchen staples onsite (oil, vinegar, a few spices). It felt wasteful to have to buy them just to use a small portion. Otherwise it was perfect in every way!

Quality Family Time on Poipu Beach

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club was the perfect place for a family get away. My kids range from 2 to 15 so it's an impressive feat to please everyone without even having to leave the property! Bart, the manager of concierge services, was amazing and his suggestions made our trip fantastic. The beach was fabulous and in walking distance, the pools were amazing and the grounds were very easy to enjoy. There were lawn games and walk ways surrounded by lush tropical Hawaiian flora and fauna. I think I will try to reserve a beach front or ground level Hale next time, but we will certainly be back!

Great unit, very spacious with everything we needed. We had a distant view of the ocean and overlooked beautifully landscaped ponds and waterfall. They have great pools areas and a beach right on site. Fabulous stay.

Fantastic Property

The Waiohai Beach Club is a fantastic property and very family friendly. We would return to the property with a hope to stay in one of the upfront units closer to the ocean. However, being in the back of the property had its advantages as well because it was much quieter. Balcony is a great size and both bedrooms have ocean views, which is a plus. Kitchen was good size as well as dining room.

Loved this property, would most definitely stay again. Close to everything you could ask for and great family vibe. Pools are nice, beach is outstanding and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

The room and grounds were clean and modern. Loved that the luggage trolleys were made available in each bldg, really made carrying bags up to the unit easy. My water pump in the unit went out one morning and we didn’t have any hot water but I called and within a few hours it was fixed. The very rear lot was not paved and only had gravel. This made pushing my grandmothers wheelchair to the handicap parking a bit challenging. I hope they pave it as the rest of the lots were. Overall, the stay was pleasant.
