Over 40 vineyards and tasting rooms pepper the North Fork including award winning Kontokosta Vineyard around 5 minutes away by car.

Other vineyards include: Croteaux Vineyards for great rosé wines in the shaded garden. McCall Wines, Long Island’s largest vineyard, for Pinot Noir. Paumanok Vineyards known for its crisp, fruity Chenin Blanc, and Shinn Estate Vineyards.

The North Fork is known for it's farm-to-table of which have been featured in Travel & Leisure and the New York Times. Some of which include: American Beech, North Fork Table, The Frisky Oyster, and Noah's. Also, Oysterponds Farm for jams and seasonal berries, Catapano Dairy Farm for goat milk cheeses; fudge; skin care products, and Briermere Farms which offers more than two dozen varieties of pie.

Downtown Greenport Village, Orient, the LIRR station, and Shelter Island Ferry are all around a 5-7 minute drive.

Access to East Marion is via State Route 25, which connects to the Long Island Expressway in Riverhead to the west. Ferries and water taxis depart regularly, bound for New York and Connecticut. Private boats can moor in Marion Lake or private marinas. Great for families

My wife and I love the North Fork and found this property to be perfect for a young family. Extremely close to Greenport, restaurants, and the beach. We found tons of things to do for our kids locally, and enjoyed the pool most late afternoons to unwind. I highly recommend to any and all looking for a fun and relaxing week or weekend in the North Fork.

Beautiful Home

The house is just as described. It was clean and cozy with all the modern convenniences needed for a relaxing vacation. The backyard is big and really well-kept. Near some beautiful beaches and great farmstands. The owners were easy to communicate with and quickly returned our emails/texts. Highly recommend!

Lovely Farmhouse in East Marion

The Farmhouse is a lovely house tucked away on a quiet street, just a short walk from a small beach. This comfortable house has been lovingly restored and decorated with wit and charm. We found the kitchen ready and well-equipped for cooking for 7 people, and our grillmaster sang praises of the grill. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. There are plenty of spots throughout the home to tuck in with a book, or sit down for chats over dinner and a glass of wine. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the pretty back yard. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Every detail has been through through, but should you need any assistance they will get right back to you! The house is a short drive from Greenport, where we found everything we needed during our stay in town including some wonderful restaurants with outdoor seating. I should also note that the North Fork communities' commitment to covid precautions were impressive - we felt perfectly comfortable throughout our stay in every store and public space.

Thanksgiving out East

Loved the Farmhouse! They kept all the original character and added updated conveniences with a hint of whimsey! I hosted my family there for Thanksgiving and it really provided us a home away from home. Bravo!

Fantastic for a quiet beach weekend!

My friends and I visited the North Fork area for a weekend getaway; we're so thrilled that we stayed at the farmhouse! The pictures honestly don't do it justice - it's a larger space than anticipated! The house itself was very clean and decorated in a charming way; it's the small things that made it special. The owners provided all the beach necessities - towels, umbrella, beach chairs. The kitchen space is huge and well-stocked with cooking supplies (which we appreciated since we cooked in both days). I also appreciated their responsiveness both before we got to the house and during our stay! We initially had a little hiccup initially opening the door with the code system - you have to turn the lock - but by the end of the weekend, we were used to it. Would highly recommend for any family or friend group looking at the area!

Conveniently located near Greenport, this lovely home has been beautifully been restored and updated

Great house with old world charm and modern amenities. Our family would definitely stay here again. The kitchen is fully equipped but could spare a cabinet or two for guest groceries. The back deck has lovely seating overlooking a spacious and nicely landscaped yard. The homeowner was a pleasure to deal with answering all questions in a timely manner. We felt right at home here.
