Access to East Marion is via State Route 25, which connects to the Long Island Expressway in Riverhead to the west. Ferries and water taxis depart regularly, bound for New York and Connecticut. Private boats can moor in Marion Lake or private marinas. East Marion is home to Island End Gold and Country Club, and convenient to regional parks including Orient Beach, Orient Point County Park and Inlet Pond County Park.
