Charming, beautifully renovated cottage in Diss town centre, a pretty south Norfolk market town. 1 minute walk from the High Street and Diss Mere. 15 minutes walk (5GBP taxi) to the mainline train station going to London Liverpool Street in 1h30m. All amenities, including supermarkets, are within a 5 minute walk.
Nestled within the town centre, but still private, you have the entire place to yourself. The home is fully equipped and a very nice place to spend some time.
The space This house has been fully renovated by myself as I dreamt it to be. I love this house and hope you will too. I am a laid back guy and want my guests to feel at ease and welcome. I live in a nearby small town and will try to help you the best I can with anything you may need. My house is unique and quirky, with a cosy 'rabbit hole' feel to it as you explore inside the deceptively spacious living space. The decor is set to calm and relax you. There is a lovely courtyard garden that is a sun trap on a nice day: great for whiling the day away in complete tranquility and exclusion. Everything you need including direct access to central London is on your doorstep making it the perfect getaway for up to 5 guests.
Guest access Everywhere apart from the cellar!
Other things to note Guests please note: 1) this is an old cottage hence ceiling heights are quite limited 2) The stairs are old and quirky. I have been advised that this is difficult for people with mobility issues or small children.

Loved the space! Everything there you need. Kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies. Stairs were fine for us (kids aged 1,3 and 5), but could see some people may have difficulty as mentioned in ad.
Highly recommend
Great location just 5 minutes walk from the high street. Lovely period cottage that has been renovated delightfuly. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable weekend stay.
We stayed at this lovely cottage right in the centre of Diss for a long weekend. Was perfectly located just a minutes walk to the high street with all the lovely shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when we are next visiting Diss.
I had great communication with the property owner. The house was very comfortable and would highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay there. 5 stars
If you are looking for a base in the heart of beautiful Diss, this is your place to stay. It was very practical and had mostly everything we needed (but be aware no freezer). Eating out for dinner worked better for us anyway and you are a stones throw away from the high street. Would definetly stay here again.
Right in the centre of town close to shops and restaurants etc. Much bigger than it looks from the outside with spacious room both upstairs and down. Kitchen could do with a few more glasses and mugs, but otherwise a great stay. Would definitely return..
Lovely quirky property, good location. Wonderful size with plenty of character, short walk to town with five minutes. Only drawback was lack of TV and could do with a few little games if you bring kids. Parking is next door to the property which is good. Overall clean expect for the showers but generally good. Communication with James the owner is excellent and is very polite and friendly. Overall we liked staying here. Thankyou
