Absolutely beautiful place, location was perfect for attending our family wedding at nearby hotel and spa. Everything you could want for extended family stay - Perfect!
I would just mention that there was a large amount of ants in the master bedroom suite, bathroom in particular, it may need to be investigated to see where they are getting in, but it certainly didn’t affect our stay, we would certainly stay again and highly recommend it, thank you Caitlin x
Group of 9 ladies and we had a ball! House was perfect for us, didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Everything we needed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our break!
We had a lovely stay here - probably the best holiday rental we have ever stayed at. The house is perfectly kitted out with everything you could want. BBQ, hot tub, pool table and a log burner. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything that we could need which was great and the house has so much space - even when all 11 beds are being used. The fact it's dog friendly is an added bonus.
There are some lovely walks that you can take straight from the house which is also really nice.
Some of the neighbours opposite were a little unfriendly when we arrived and unpacked the car, telling us we couldn't park in front of the house which is not true. We hadn't actually planned to park there (even though we were perfectly allowed to), we were just taking our bags in. Anyway - don't let that stop you but it did make us feel a bit uncomfortable.
Well appointed, beautifully designed, nicely furnished in every detail. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Country setting, away from services. Rental car recommended as taxi service at times was unreliable. Overall great experience!
Caitlins Property really is perfectly designed for a large group of people. The open plan kitchen/dining area - the large lounge area with plenty of seating opportunities, comfortable bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Ample towels, robes and bedding and blankets. The Hot-Tub, outdoor area and the pool table for the kids make this accomodation ideal!
Check in was nice and simple property was easy to find the house was lovely and had all you need from pool table to hot tub dogs being allowed was great and there’s a nice sized garden thank you
We were a group of 9 people- 2 families with children ranging from 12 to 20.
Communication with the property owner was excellent throughout our stay. The house was gorgeous, with amazing big areas to eat and socialise in. We made good use of the pool table and table tennis table (in the garden). The hot tub was a fabulous feature that the children especially enjoyed.
Location is good- a short drive to the station where you can get a train into Glasgow very easily. It’s a 1hr30min drive to Edinburgh which is really worth a visit. Brilliant location for ease of getting to Loch Lomond, where we spent 2 days- Luss Beach and Balloch, both lovely places to visit for water sports and cruises.
Our only little niggle was the neighbours are a little fussy and easily upset, we found this out when the police came round at 10.30pm to ask us to keep the noise down as a neighbour had complained! (He was very pleasant and said he thought they had too much time on their hands!). Another neighbour asked us to move one of our cars which was parked opposite her house-we easily resolved these issues and had no further problems. This in no way should put you off booking this house- we had a great week here….. just need to keep the noise down after 9pm!
Had a lovely week , fantastic house , everything you need , loved the hot tub , also having the pool table was great - really friendly and helpful hosts - we would recommend this place for couples and families and we would certainly go back !
Beautiful accommodation
Fantastic facilities
The family could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Extremely well equipped kitchen compared to other properties we have stayed in.
Hot tub was a pleasant bonus as was not in the description when booked
Outside area was superb.
Change of towels and the option to get more if needed.
The basket of just in case things was very thoughtful
Well equipped laundry.
Everything was spotlessly clean.
We also thought it was good value.
We would not hesitate to rebook if we were to come to the area again.
Caitlin was absolutely outstanding and the house was presented perfectly. Everything that we could have asked for was laid on and Caitlin was helpful and friendly.
Very much enjoyed a relaxing stay at this property to celebrate an 18th birthday and Christmas. Very comfortable beds, fabulous log burner, well equipped kitchen. Very homely and made to feel very welcome from the hosts.
