Summary:
Casalinho Macieira is a charming vacation home that features three cozy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and one and a half bathrooms. The first bedroom is located on the ground floor and boasts ample space and plenty of natural light, thanks to the two large windows. It is furnished with a comfortable double bed and decorated with rustic touches, such as terracotta floor tiles and dark wood furniture.

The Space:
Casalinho Macieira roughly translates as the little house with the apple tree. The name was inspired by the apple tree that greets you as you enter the property. The exterior is cozy with a lot of stone influence and blends between nature and the cottage itself, here you will find a great place to have early evening meals or morning brunches, while you soak up the sun and the crispy & fresh marine air which is influenced by both Sintra's hills and the Atlantic ocean. The cottage is equipped for 6 people, but it is inviting for any couple who wants to escape the city rush or a family who wants to connect with nature.

Casalinho Macieira has 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, 1,5 bathrooms, and air conditioning.
The first bedroom is found on the ground floor and it is spacious and bright, as it has 2 windows, a comfortable double bed, and a decor with rustic influence due to the terracotta floor tiles and dark wood furniture. As you continue on the ground floor, to your right by the entrance, you will find the spacious, bright, and modernly rustic fully equipped kitchen, you can't help but imagine yourself cooking up a soulful homemade meal, you will find an electric 4 plate electric hob, an electric oven, a toaster, kettle, coffee maker and all other basic cooking utensils; within the kitchen you will find the half bathroom and a connecting door into the living room. The living room is a cozy area where you will find dark wooden influences from the dining table to the mezzanine to the terracotta tiles; here you can enjoy dinners and lunches enjoy quiet time reading a book, or do a little work.
As you venture up to the top floor, you will find to your left the second bedroom, which has a double bed, 2 windows that allow a lot of natural light in, and the continuation of the dark wooden features. As you continue through the hallway you will find the full bathroom, which is elegantly refurbished with the main feature being the white and green pattern tiles, you have a bathtub with a shower over it, for nice relaxing baths after a day out of sightseeing. Finally, you have the last room which has a comfortable sofa-bed, the room has 2 windows too and it is ideal if you really want to have some quiet time, whilst looking out of the windows where you get a glimpse of the town, nature, and sea view.

Wonderful time
We loved our time in Azoia. The house was very cozy and had lots of space. One warning the stairs are a little steep and the full bathroom is upstairs. Could be difficult for some people. 1/2 bath downstairs so that was good for the nighttime. Love the town- some of the best restaurants we had our whole 10 days in Portugal… The coffee house across the street was very wonderful to have for morning coffee and pastries. Would definitely recommend. Our family had a wonderful time.

Portugal Portfolio was conceived in 2005 because of the lack of modern, upmarket self-catering accommodation on the Lisbon Coast at that time. Since its inception, it has grown steadily from just two properties to an extensive selection of villas, apartments, cottages and ‘room only’ boarding.
