Fully refurbished during 2024 and ready for you to enjoy a sumptuous experience.

With oodles of historic charm, you can wake up to the smell of coffee from Partisan Bistro below or make your own in the pod coffee machine in the kitchen. You will also be a short walk away from award winning restaurants, and a full range or fantastic heritage venues for days out. A weekend is rarely enough time to see all the sights.

This stunning apartment in a medieval building has been redesigned and fully refurbished to provide you with a luxurious stay in York close to all the attractions in the city centre.  A perfect break for couples, or 4 guests if you use the sofa bed, the apartment has been fitted out and equipped with everything you will need.

Added extras now include an extra toilet on the first floor and a full plush sofa bed in the lounge if you do decide to bring friends or family; all included within the price.

York is a fantastic location for a "City Break", with all the attractions of a medieval City; ancient street layouts and the stunning York Minster and Roman walls, with the River Ouse running through the middle. York has developed quite a reputation for good food, with many new and interesting establishments as well as numerous pubs served by a growing plethora of small independent breweries  as well as the larger more established names. Further afield, North Yorkshire boasts numerous sites and attractions, and the East Coast from Staithes and Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough and Bridlington are all worth exploring.

York is also home to the internationally recognised York Racecourse, with about 18 race days in the year, including the Dante Festival and the Ebor Festival, various music events and other exhibitions and conferences.

We will share directions to our office and the keybox behind our office if you arriving later thatn office hours. We are just a little further down Micklegate. These details will be shared with you 7 days before arrival.

York is best enjoyed on foot with much of the centre pedestrianised.
For short breaks, best to arrive by train with the apartments only 5 minutes walk away from the station.
If you do plan to arrive by car then Nunnery Lane carpark is the closest (5min walk) and at the time of writing £13.50 to park for the day.

This apartment is a brilliant find! Just the right size for two! Full of character! The place was beautiful and clean, very cosy! Location is easily walkable into York centre. Loads of dining options really close by too. The café downstairs (The Partisan) is an extra bonus, great coffee and delicious food!
