Peace and quiet!
Absolutely stunning cottage in the middle of nowhere. Peace, tranquillity, relaxation, everything you could want! The garden is completely secure so no escaping dog, she was free to roam to her heart's content. There were lots of spiders and cobwebs in the property which we thought was strange as the cleaners had apparently been a few hours before we arrived, but we weren't going to let that spoil anything as it was such a lovely place to stay! Lots of fruit trees in the garden which we loved. Lot's of great places to visit nearby, but be aware the roads are very tight, only single track all around the cottage. Also the gate at the bottom is very heavy as you have to lift it to open it, also take wipes as it is very rusty and will mark your clothes etc. Would definitely book again though, the bad points aren't really bad, just little niggles, overall, it's a stunning place in an idyllic position.

Just spent christmas week at sunny bank.
Just spent christmas week at sunny bank. It was a last minute booking as our wales holiday was cancelled. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break you can't beat this house. It sits in a dip with no other visible houses. There is a waterfall and stream going around the back you can spend hours enjoying the grounds. The kids loved rolling down the banks around the house and walking in the stream with their wellies on. The house is big we loved the kitchen with open plan lounge it was lovely having the log burner. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a utility room which was ideal for our dog and he was happy in there after a mad run around the grounds. The house is well equipped and i could not think of a thing that was missing. The games room above the barn was lovely but a little cold at this time of year. Would definitely recomend Sunnybank and we would love to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space. Had a great week.
Had a great week. My two dogs loved. There were 7 adults staying. Felt we could have done with a shower upstairs. But we managed. Kitchen fully equipped. Great vibe to the house very homely. We went pony trekking in the black mountains which was great. Will definitely be booking again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

If you want to get away from it all, Sunnybank is perfect.
If you want to get away from it all, Sunnybank is perfect. It is deep in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and is surrounded by its own woodland, garden and fields. The house is comfortable and great for relaxing in. We ate out in local dog friendly pubs ,but the kitchen is well stocked if you want to do your own cooking. We enjoyed exploring the area on foot and by car and loved the peace and tranquility of Sunnybank. The sky at night was spectacular and is perfect for star gazing. A charming house with attractive period features, comfortable and homely.
A charming house with attractive period features, comfortable and homely. Generally it was very well provided for and the welcoming touches for our atrrival at Christmas of bottle and tree were much appreciated. The area is very attractive and although the footpaths were too waterlogged to use after the rain, there are plenty of quiet roads providing an excellent substitute. It is an interesting area with numerous old churches, a castle and a ruined priory not too far, and the delightful town of Hay on Wye within reach. There are many wonderful views of the hills and the area is gloriously peaceful. We would be very happy to return.
