The beach is also practically right in your backyard, so feel free to walk about five minutes to get to the exquisite shoreline. Love golf? Get your clubs ready and plan your tee times because The Crossings at Carlsbad, a 6,835-yard public golf course, is a mere 15-minute drive away.
