4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Check-in, communication, location
Overpriced, poorly managed, unreliable facilities.
Below are my criticisms of this property.
Management
i) Communication with the agent before our trip was problematic. I sent two messages and on each occasion it was necessary to remind them to answer.
ii) Entrance to the property is through a code-operated lock. We arrived, tired, in the dark and rain. The code I had been given was incorrect and it took several phone calls to the agent to obtain the correct code.
iii) The property is very difficult to locate and the directions provided by the agency, were inadequate.
2) The Property
i) There is insufficient hot water to meet the demands of the three apartments. This may sound trivial, but stepping into a cold shower after a day walking in the hills is not an experience that is worth the 100 Euros/day I paid to stay here.
ii) Similarly, the electrical installation is inadequate for the demands of three separate apartments. The circuit breaker would cut out at least once a day, and to reset it meant leaving the apartment and entering the door to the other two apartments.
iii) The apartment has an induction hob and compatible cooking equipment was supplied. However, sometimes the hob would work with a particular saucepan and sometimes not.
iv) No safe box for valuables is provided.
Location
i) The property is at least 100 meters from the nearest parking spot, and is accessed through a narrow alley. This makes unloading luggage difficult.
ii) It is very difficult to find.
