About this property

2 bedroom chalet on the beautiful Glan Gwna Holiday Park. Our chalet offers the perfect setting for visitors to Caernarfon, North Wales and Snowdon. The chalet offers sleeping facilities for up to 5 people. The open plan living room/kitchen open outs onto large spacious decking with views over the park. The modern bathroom has a full sized jet shower. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with french doors to the decking and wall-mounted TV. Bedroom 2 has a doubled bed with single bunk over and wall-mounted TV. There are electric heaters in all rooms. There is a large wall-mounted TV/DVD player in the living room. The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is a dining table with seating for 4. No pets are allowed. The chalet runs on electric meter and this is provided for your stay. However if the electric meter requires top up during your stay (due to season) top up cards can be brought from the site reception, shop or Poolside bar. NO smoking is permitted in the chalet.
Glan Gwna Holiday Park has on site facilities such as a heated outdoor pool (Whitsun to September), Poolside club with dining (Easter to November), Route 66 cafe, shop and laundrette.
The chalet is available from 1 March to 3 January. Bank holidays are a minimum 3 night stay

Great location

Really nice little spot , there is a clubhouse and “heated” pool there if you don’t just sit on the deck and Spagatna up the quite , not that I got much quite with 3 grandaughters 2-10

Holiday lodge at Glan Gwna

Lovely lodge in woodland setting. Very well equipped with all essentials provided. Quite steep access via roadway and steps so may not suit elderly/mobility impairment.Our 3 grand-daughters loved outdoor pool and play park area.

Chalet near Caernarfon

The chalet was well equipped for our needs, very clean and very comfortably furnished. Instructions for the properly and communication were very good. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and there was the added bonus of a swimming pool with lifeguards, shop and restaurant/bar on site. Thank you

Beautiful little chalet

This was our second stay at the Glan Gwna site. It is a great location close to all the things we want to do, snowdon, zip world, caernarfon, anglesey, porthmadog area. The outdoor 'heated' pool is great for the kids and grown ups alike if they dont mind cold water! It really is a very nice pool area so i was happy to sit enjoying the sun while dad and daughter enjoyed the pool. I was expecting similar accomodation to our last chalet and was blown away by the difference at 141. I took kitchen roll, hand soap, washing up liquid, spare loo roll but i needn't have as everything is already there. It is very well appointed, plenty of plug sockets, all the crockery and cutlery you would need in the kitchen and little personal touches such as pretty flowers on the balcony and tissue boxes. The lounge is so cosy with lovely furniture and cushions and evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony surrounded by trees and wildlife were very enjoyable. There are 2 double beds and a single bunk. It will comfortably sleep 2 couples or a couple with 2/3 kids. I would recommend 141 if you enjoy chalet type accommodation and would definitely return. The host is very communicative, so easy arrival and access arrangements. Thank you Stephanie for a very pleasant holiday home to stay in.

Nice little chalet in a good location.

So nice stay but be aware that the swimming pool doesn’t open till may 28th as the park instructions just state may🙄 chalet is very basic and did have a smell of damp, but the main issue was trying to shower. It was terrible 3mins of hot water then waited for water to reheat. So washing a family was a nightmare. Cheap and cheerful accommodation if you are looking for a weekend in snowdon,but would not return.

On first sight property looked nice and smelled clean. After a day walking and sight seeing you need to be comfy. Furniture was extremely uncomfortable and the beds even worse. We left a day early due to be nowhere to sit to relax and very bad nights sleep!!

Family holiday

The lodge was in a stunning location. Some cleaning had been overlooked but I run my own cleaning company so extremely picky! The sink and the toilet moved so that was slightly concerning. Everything was provided in the kitchen and the oven worked very well. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful surroundings and close to town, yet closer to nature. Stunning Snowdonia mountains in the backdrop. Friendly hosts. We will visit again.

Great property and good location…

Excellent location and great chalet to stop at. Good site with outdoor pool, bar, shop etc. No problem with finding property or gaining access. Slight problem with TV signal upon arrival, but very quick response from owner and problem solved (booster was switched off). Would highly recommend.
