A delightful villa on one level with ceilings 4m high and French doors throughout allowing sunshine to flood in. The interior resembles a very chic manor house with exposed beams in the lounge - diner and a beautiful stone carved fireplace. Decorated in an elegant country style, with colourful paintings and sumptuous soft furnishings, the lounge offers a peaceful and relaxing seating area with large sofas & a dining area which seats up to 6 people.
The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons & leads out to the private enclosed garden area, with table, chairs, parasol and massive stone built BBQ; surrounded by mature laurel hedges
The Master bedroom has an ornate fireplace and antique furnishings, a double bedroom with double bed and an extra French day bed and a third twin bedded room with en suite bathroom with bath & separate shower cubical, WC & double wash hand basin

Domaine St Ferreol is an authentic vineyard that offers luxurious holiday accommodation for rental and is also an ideal setting for celebrating your special occasion. Located in the heart of the Herault Valley in Languedoc, close to Pezenas (6km) and sunny Mediterranean beaches (25km) there are a wealth of cultural & sporting activities to keep you busy all year round. Dating back to 822 the ancient Domaine lies in a peaceful 35 acre estate, surrounded by vineyards with 2 acres of wooded parkland, 1 km of riverbank, a bamboo park & natural water gardens and ponds. The extensive grounds include a large secluded pool (13x6M)
Set in its own landscaped garden, an enclosed children's play area with a Wendy House, swings, slide, sandpit, table tennis and 14ft trampoline & a large park with plenty of nooks and crannies. Beautiful, serene, relaxing and different

This beautiful place is hidden away from noise and other people but you can easily get to places to explore, you can also walk across the vineyards to the next village to get fresh bread and croissants. It's idyllic. The villas are beautifully decorated, comfortable and have everything you need to make it a perfect self catering holiday. The pool and the gardens are gorgeous, lots of places to walk around and the play area is fantastic for entertaining the kids when there is midday heat. Ani and Jorge are very accommodating and are keen to provide any suggestions of places to go and what to do. I loved going into the different near by towns to the market days, there are lots of different markets from food markets to flee markets and you feel very immersed in the French culture. I also loved the trip we had to the lake, where we went kayacking and wind surfing, it was such a fun day out. It is also close to railway links, so you can visit many other places in the south of France or even Barcelona! I continue to return most years, there are new things to do each time and every time I step through their gates I feel an instant sense of calm and relaxation! A wonderful holiday.

The most beautiful place in the world

The most beautiful place I've stayed. Authentic and family friendly. I have been time and time again with family, with my boyfriend and with my friends each time I love it more. 10 minute drive away from beautiful French town Pezanas where you can wonder around cobbled streets looking at art and eating icecream. Amazing hosts, so helpful and keep the place looking fantastic. Every time it feels like I am returning to a home away from home. Highly recomend!

Beautiful, relaxing, perfect getaway.

Gorgeous setting, lovely pool, perfect place to sit in beautiful surroundings and fully relax. Very peaceful but plenty of space for the kids to run and play. The accommodation was lovely, with exceptional attention to detail and everything you might need. Look forward to visiting again.

Great place to relax and unwind

I just had to write a few words to express my thanks to Ani and Jorje, the owners for a fantastic relaxing and enjoyable stay in early autumn. The description of the property location and facilities was accurate, and Le Laurier was clean and kept to a high standard, elegant and ideal for our purposes. We had great service from Ani and Jorje who were only too pleased to be of help, recommending local restaurants and wines; we even got to taste some of their own exquisite viognier. The highlight for me was enjoying strolling in the grounds and swimming in the beautiful outdoor pool - clean and excellently maintained even at the end of the summer and into the early autumn when we stayed. We'll definitely be returning! Tres bon!

Wonderful accommodation perfecty situated.

If you are considering a self-catering holiday in the South of France, stop right here! St Ferreol offers you an excellent choice of gites. We decided to choose Villa Laurier as it offered us space and a good arrangement of living area and bedrooms for a family, including grandma and grandad. The decor is traditionally French and provides excellent cooking facilities both inside and out. On those warm evenings what better than a BBQ in your own private garden. The access to the woodland walks provides the welcome escape from the sun and a walk around the surrounding vineyards is wonderful. From the time you arrive, your hosts are most friendly and helpful. Jorje's knowledge of wine will leave you eager to learn and sample more! For children there is the swimming pool, wendy house, trampoline and swings. For the adults, sun loungers by the pool or a tour of the old wine cellars under the main house where the wine is lovingly made by Jorje. Once out of the main property the little French villages are easily accessible as is the town of Pezenas, a must to visit. If you decide to explore the Languedoc area there are lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from, as well as the lovely country countryside to explore. Meze, the nearest village by the sea, is only 30 minutes drive away and offered a wonderful choice of cafes and restaurants as well as 'sea and sand' for the children. We are sure that like us, one visit to St Ferreol will not be enough and you will want to return for another visit and another visit !

Fabulous stay at a wonderful venue

We stayed in July and what a wonderful location it was ideally suited for a family holiday. The accommodation is presented to a high standard and the interior décor is tastefully done. The living area, kitchen and bedrooms are large and airy and benefit from some wonderful views over the property gardens and surrounding vineyards. We were made most welcome on our arrival and loved the complimentary basket of goodies that was provided for us including a bottle of the estate wine! The grounds are spacious and children can play freely and safely. A trampoline, wendy house, swings and a table tennis table are all provided which the children can use. The swimming pool was very welcoming with lounge chairs and parasols for guests to use as well as an array of inflatables for the children to play with. The grounds have a lovely shaded wooded area with walkways which are wonderful to walk around on a hot day and cool down. Go outside the main gate and you can walk among the vines and see the different variety of grapes growing – names that you normally only see on a wine bottle. Ask Jorje a question about wine and he will enthusiastically and knowledgeably tell you all about wine. We were also given a tour of the old cellars underneath the house where the wine is made. Amazing! The surrounding area has lots of little villages with many local restaurants serving a variety of local sea food and the beach is less than half an hour away by car. Pezenas is a short distance away with many quaint little shops set amongst cobbled streets. We had a wonderful and thoroughly relaxing holiday and would highly recommend the venue again. We will definitely be returning!
