A wonderful detached thatched cottage full of character and charm, just five minutes’ walk to the village with its two good pubs and shop.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for open fire included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Large lawned garden with sitting-out area. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: Barbecues and fireworks are not allowed in the garden due to the thatched roof.. This wonderful Grade II detached thatched cottage oozes charm and character. The garden has a large lawned wrap around garden to enjoy and inside you will be greeted with a wealth of beams and the large inglenook fireplace. It’s a great place to return to and relax after a day of exploring. Five minutes’ walk away is the village of Pulham Market, a really pretty village with a picturesque green, medieval church and thatched cottages, with a good village shop and two pubs.
The nearby towns of Harleston and Diss offer shops, cafes, supermarkets and more restaurants. Diss has a train station with direct links to London, Norwich and the coastal villages. The city of Norwich is just 15 miles away with two indoor shopping malls, cathedral, castle museum, market square, theatre, cafes and many restaurants. The Norfolk and Suffolk coastline with sandy beaches are within an hours’ drive.
Traditional seaside resorts such as Great Yarmouth offer plenty of family seaside fun. Southwold is a great traditional seaside town with a pier. You’ll find sandy beaches backed with dunes at Corton, Gorleston and Caister on sea.
The Waveney Valley and Norfolk Broads offer great boating activity. Hire your own day boat, try canoeing or kayaking. With miles and miles of inland waterways, rich with bird life, they are well worth exploring. Market towns and boat hire are available in Beccles and Bungay within a 30 minute drive. Wroxham is known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, with waterside cafes, shops and boating activity. Shop, restaurant and two pubs ½ mile.
