A light and spacious, three-bedroom property near all the amenities in St Agnes.

Rozel is a light and spacious, dog friendly holiday home situated in the charming and sought-after village of St Agnes; within easy reach of many cafes, restaurants, galleries and independent shops. With open-plan living and large windows, the accommodation is ideal for a family holiday and is the perfect base in which to explore North Cornwall.

Downstairs, the sitting room has delightful floor to ceiling windows and doors out to the established gardens along with a cosy wood burning stove for cooler evenings and a large Smart television to entertain after a long day on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher, microwave and large dining table for hosting family meals. Whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the useful utility room, perfect for rinsing through those sandy clothes.

Two of the three bedrooms are located on the ground floor and both have plush king-size beds and overlook the charming walled garden. There is a family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, wash basin and WC, as well as a further shower room. Upstairs is the final bedroom which can accommodate up to three guests with its double bed and single bed.

Outside, dine alfresco with the supplied barbecue or enjoy a lazy morning with a relaxing breakfast and coffee. The lovely walled garden has well-established shrubs and a lawn, ideal for little ones to play on. Rozel also has handy driveway suitable for two cars, a rarity in small Cornish villages.

Enjoyable Time

Rozel is a very nice property in a great location. Spacious accommodation for 5 family members. House decor a bit tired and could do with a general sort out in the cupboards. Insufficient seating in lounge area so had to use a camping chair. Cleanliness adequate but plenty of cobwebs around. Outside furniture could also do with a clean to make it useable. Hadn't realised the house was a semi-detached property. Not a problem but did think it was double booked when we arrived! St Agnes is a great place with all amenities within walking distance from the house. Would recommend The Peterville Inn & Miners Arms for eating.

Really nice spacious house.

The house is very spacious with large bedrooms and extremely clean and tidy throughout . Located a short walk to the centre of St Agnes with a 25min walk to the beach (there are two small car parks at the beach, which do get busy) The house has everything you need (apart from loo roll, a very basic but important necessity! so make sure you bring some). Nearby we can HIGHLY recommend The Peterville Inn, Cafe Q, The Cornish Pizza Company and Schooners also the Miner Arms in Mithian.

Beautiful village location

Unfortunately when we arrived the cottage hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. Cornwall Hideaways however were very apologetic and arranged for cleaners to come in the next day. It was a disappointing start to our holiday. The house was spacious and comfortable and St Agnes is a lovely village with 2 excellent beaches. The garden is enclosed to the rear however pet owners and those with young children should be aware that at part of the garden wall there is an approx 10 foot drop to the neighbouring hotel garden with no fence or guard to prevent any accidents.

Recommendations

The house would benefit from an additional sofa or arm chairs in the lounge if accommodating more than 3 people..there were definitely not enough comfortable seats. Clarity around Waste collection is needed, what to put where. Otherwise the house was well located and clean, kitchen appliances easy to use and lovely garden with sufficient garden furniture. We enjoyed our stay.

Winter in St Agnes

The property is very spacious light & airy. The property has everything that you need & a nice garden for the summer . The only negative is that there is an adjoining door upstairs to the property to next door & you do hear some noise & it would be nice to have some additional seating in the lounge as not really enough for 7 people.Ideal position for the village and about a mile walk to the beach. We had some fantastic walks along the cliffs. The team in the office were fantastic & quick to sort out any issues we had.
