About this property
Warren Dunes-2000 Acre Park On Lake Michigan, Hot Tub, WBFPL , Wineries, 2BR/2BA
The lodge backs up to a 2000 acre park called Warren Dunes that runs along Lake Michigan. The lodge is on the North end of the park with no parking lots on the lake so it is very private. The beach trail starts a few houses down at the end of Floral Lane. It is a beautiful hike to the beach over the dunes. The rooms in the lodge all open to a 66 foot long by 10 foot wide screened porch that houses the private hot tub and access to fenced yard and patio with fireplace pit. Also WBFPL in LR.

This place was the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I. We had a great time at the house and exploring around Bridgman and the surrounding towns. Walking down to the dunes was a great adventure. The house was very clean as well as the hot tub that we enjoyed every night. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
My daughter and myself spent great day's and nights thereand absolutely loved it! It's beautiful insideand we spent most of our time on the screened in front porch! The owner was wonderful working with me on everything, she was polite and kind! We'll be going back soon!
We loved staying here! Patti was a great host, very accommodating and good communication. The proximity to the state park is everything. We’re looking forward to coming back :)
perfect location, very nice trails to Lake Michigan for dogs, it is a hike though.
very nice, not more than 10-15 minutes from family functions. saw sunsets twice. dogs did great, especially enjoyed the trails to lake michigan. little hiccup with family member needed to go to hospital....again great location hospital 10-15 minutes away.
It was a nice weekend getaway.
The house wasnt as clean as it should have been. The cleaning guy got sick and miscommunication happened. The fans had layers of dust so we couldnt use them.
Close Proximity to Dunes with Great Outdoor Amenities
Partner and I stayed a few nights with our 2 dogs and had a great time visiting the Warren Dunes. Several trailheads are within walking distance. We found the dunes a bit challenging but the beautiful beach is so worth it!
The blue jay lodge has a wonderful hot tub on an enormous screened in porch.
The fully fenced yard was perfect for lounging by a fire with the dogs after a long day of hiking.
This was everything we wanted. The doorknob was broken upon our arrival & a simple message to the property manager it was fixed! We would stay here again in the future if ever in the area! Great getaway for us. My daughter loved the hot tub & it was perfect for us to be able to enjoy on a cool evening.

Cozy stay
Property was very clean. Nice fenced yard for pets.
Hot tub was well maintained.
Trail to beach was treacherous for older folk.
Worth the money to drive to park area.
No check out instructions.
Overall nice experience and would rebook.
Family of 3 stayed in mid August for 4 nights. Loved the area and beaches were fantastic. My son and 2 dogs loved the fenced in yard and the hot tub was wonderful. The acces to the beach was definitely too advanced for my 2 year old but we knew that coming in. Plenty of beaches nearby that are lovely and dog friendly. And loved being close to St. Joseph for fun day trips.
The property could use a little care, some new interior wall repair and the master bathrooms towel rack was ripped off the wall. The air filter was visible through the vent and definitely in need of changing. I'm might be a clean freak so some areas set me off and could really use a more thorough scrub down. But overall we had a blast.
We enjoyed our stay at this rental for 3 nights. The hot tub was the highlight, and enjoying the wonderful breeze on the screened in porch. The place was very clean and comfortable - it was much better equipped with the “little stuff” than some other vacation rentals I’ve been to.
I do wish the description had been a little more clear about how long of a hike it is to the beach - it’s not just a simple walk through the woods, it’s a strenuous hike through dunes. However, the park is beautiful and the hike was worth it to get to Lake Michigan.
We also checked out Weko Beach in Bridgman which was nice, and took a drive down to Indiana Dunes National Park. This rental was a great place to rest between all our hikes and exploring.
The house was everything our small family of 3 plus a dog could need! We were very comfortable in our rooms and the usage of the kitchen was great. We spent much time out on the long, covered porch and in the hot tub! Only complaint is proximity to Red Arrow Highway and noisy cars. However, the noise wasn't terrible at night when we were mainly at the house and it's location did make it easy to get to the grocery store and downtown Bridgman. House could use a deep clean, I wasn't by any means uncomfortable, but the inside of the drawers were dusty and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the shower didn't feel clean enough to use, luckily I brought my own. All in all, we would definitely visit again. Thank you for your quick responses and flexibility as well, Patti!

The Good the Bad and the Ugly
The Good: the remodel of this trailer is visually effective with some nice vacation touches like a nice soaking tub, a hot tub, a private , fully fenced outdoor patio, BBQ & fire pit. Proximity and access to Warren Dunes is brilliant.
The Bad: it is feet away from a busy highway and very near the interstate and a busy train line. It was not a peaceful getaway by any means.
The Ugly: stale smoke from many years permeates the property. The noise and ofor sent us packing the next morning. We’d have gone upon arrival if we hadn’t already spent most of day in the car already.

This was a cute small manufactured home.
This was a cute very small manufactured home that was well equipped. It was not the house pictured. The one we stayed at was nice, but not as nice as that pictured. Ours was right on a very busy 4 lane road with lots of noise. The day before we showed up, Patti told us that she was having a wall built out front of the house by the road. This will certainly make the front yard nicer and more usable. But, it was quite unsightly for us with mounds of dirt and workers.
Patti was nice and responsive.
Loved the access to the Lake. It is about a mile walk over several dunes making it a very pretty and fun hike. The beach is deserted and very private.
