Neighboring the Chappy Beach Club, it is a true seashore swimming beach with sand underfoot and little surf or undertow in prevailing summer conditions. Walk, bike or drive only 800 yards to the beach (east) or to Town (west) .

Great location, spacious

We had a great time on Chappy. The location is great, making walking to the ferry and access to Edgartown a breeze. The house is spacious and functional. The floorplan is peculiar, with stairs and steps in every direction, but that also meant the bedrooms were well separated. The only thing we did not like is the smell in the basement, which made us not use the basement bedrooms.

Relaxing

My family had the most relaxing week staying on Chappy. The home we rented was beautiful and the beaches on Chappy were never crowded. It was so nice being so close to the ferry so you could walk down and take it over to Edgartown.

Chappy House Review

Nicely renovated and substantially expanded with spectacular views. Homeowner thoughtfully provided virtually every convenience, including a well stocked kitchen. Those not familiar with Martha’s Vineyard should be aware that the house is accessed by a quick ferry from Edgartown to Chappy Island, for a nominal one way fee.

4 bedroom Chappy house

This is a recently renovated property with modern kitchen, air-conditioned rooms, wonderful balconies to view the harbor, and within walking distance to the chappy ferry. The house is well-maintained with the kitchen which is supplied with all cooking materials for a fantastic vacation. The house and location give you all the charm of chappy . An SUV would be convenient to negotiate the narrow road to the house. This is a great house to enjoy the chappy experience

Perfect spot on Chappy

Beautiful house with great views of Edgartown harbor and Cape Pogue. Plenty of room to spread out, 2 living rooms, a TV room, 3 decks, a big dining room and kitchen. Great house for couples (we were four couples) or families. No tiny bedrooms. Close to ferry and a private beach. Easy drive to the other great beaches on Chappy. Easy access to Edgartown without the parking issues. Owner was very cooperative and easy to work with. Plenty of hot water, kitchen stuff, and china, glassware. A/C worked well, but we didn't need it very often with the ocean breezes. We have be coming to MV for many years and this is one the nicer places we have stayed at.

Excellent location on Chappy with nice water views from the deck

Very nice property in an excellent location on Chappy. Short drive to the ferry dock allows you to visit Edgartown without having to find a place to park your car. Short trip to a private beach area as well. The house itself was very clean and offers plenty of space. There are multiple decks on the property, including one on the top floor which has beautiful views of the water. Newly remodeled kitchen had a nice stove. Overall a very pleasant stay and accommodating property owner.
