We booked Woodhouse Cottages due to their proximity to family during our visit from Australia, and because of the scenic location. The cottage was perfect for us ( a little tricky to find in the dark) but clean, pretty and warm with all the facilities we could want. We would definitely
Beautiful location with gorgeous wildlife. Cute cottage with well equipped kitchen. Melanie was a great host, check in was easy and communication was great even after my little payment hiccup - sorry! If I had to list any negatives, there would only be a small one; we like fresh air and upon opening windows and doors, there were lots of spiders and webs. My aussie babies were scared haha We found it funny, but others may not. Could do with a spray and clean. Other than that though, our stay was good. Highly recommended
Greeted with treats! Great walks in all directions. Bedrooms carpeted with doors otherwise wooden floors and plenty of doggie towels on hand and even an outside hose to wash me down after I plunged into a smelly water hole. Staying in Oak Cottage had access to our own private garden patch. All of which made for a relaxed missy so waggy thank yous for a great holiday.
Centrally located cottage for East and West Sussex
Beautifully appointed dog friendly cottage with super dog walks on the doorstep. Many thoughtful extras such as Welly Boot stand, excellent selection of kitchen cooking accessories, grab rail in shower. Highly recommend and look forward to revisiting.
We really enjoyed staying here. It was exactly as described. Great dog walks. Lovely setting. Henfield is very pretty and has everything you need. Very good base for the Downs and sight seeing. Melanie was very kind and helpful.
Everything was excellent. Dropped a star for location because we had assumed the property was within walking distance of the village but was actually a 5 minute drive away.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable with nice small garden, well situated for visiting Brighton and Worthing and other places of interest ,very enjoyable.
Overall a lovely location and comfortable apartment.
Owners need to deal with wasps nest in the eves, a toilet seat that's not level and winter duvets in a warm September.
The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable, the people friendly and helpful. The location and environment made our break so much more relaxing at this difficult time.
