About this property

La Roussille is a recently completed stone barn conversion set in 13 acres and is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Walnut Barn sleeps 4 people, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with 1 luxury family bathroom. There is an open plan living area overlooking the countryside and pool with a large wrap around decking area; a high spec kitchen with all modern amenities. A large shared heated pool (from June to September) and patio providing plenty of seating areas which are positioned with beautiful views across the valley and the surrounding countryside. The property and surrounding area is ideal for both families and couples. Whilst set in a peaceful and tranquil setting we have many attractions and activities close by as well as all the necessary amenities.
This property is not suitable for 'Hen', 'Stag' or 'Fishing' trips.

We have spent our working life in the City of London but knew that we wanted a different life. We lived in Leigh-on-Sea and loved our time there, however we made it our aim to buy our dream home and settle down in the French countryside. We made several trips to France touring around looking at many different areas before falling in love with the idyllic Dordogne countryside. We found La Roussille after seeing around 10 other properties and it was love at first sight!

Why they chose this property

A wonderful mix of rural tranquility, beautiful countryside and architecture, medieval villages and chateaux. Also plenty of activities close by. Our local town offers all the amenities you require i.e. banks, supermarkets, bakery, butchers etc. Please see our website for all things to do in our area.

What makes this property unique

All our rooms are designed for comfort and with a hint of something special. The renovation has been completed and and will be decorated to a very high standard offering our guests luxury accommodation. Set in a beautiful valley, the property has 360 degree views, with 13 acres to explore. It is a truly wonderful place to unwind and relax with lots of wildlife and outside space. We also offer a large heated swimming pool with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the outdoors.
