The name of Cortemaggiore is found for the first time in a diploma of King Ludwig of France, who in 845 granted the territory in fiefdom to his granddaughter Ermengarda. In 890 the territory was then donated by Empress Angilberga to the nuns of the church of San Sisto in Piacenza [7]. Involved in municipal struggles, it was invaded by the Cremonese in 1214 and then by the troops of Federico II of Svevia in 1243. In 1290 it passed under the control of the Pallavicino family

Wunderschöne,liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dieser tollen Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist mitten in der kleinen Stadt Cortemaggiore und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Städteausflüge in der Umgebung (Cremona, Mantua, Parma, Piacenza, Verona,...) Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie tun alles, damit die Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir können die Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank Giorgia für außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft.

Séjour à Cortemaggiore

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Cortemaggiore, l’appartement est confortable, propre, bien équipé, calme, hormis la circulation sur la strada provinciale. Bonne situation pour rayonner avec la proximité de l’autoroute A1, qui permet de rejoindre Parme, Modene … rapidement. Bon accueil et contact avec Georgia. Ensemble très largement positif. Sehr schönes Appartement

Sehr schöne, große Wohnung, neu renoviert, sehr sauber. Modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet . Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, Spül- und Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Bügeleisen, Fön, Klimaanlage….alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation funktionierte bestens. Cortemaggiore liegt sehr günstig, man ist schnell in Piacenza, Cremona, Parma, Busseto und auch in die Berge ist es nicht weit. Das Städtchen selber ist nicht sehr spektakulär, aber es gibt einige ordentliche Restaurants, die man auch gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das einzige Negative ist die Lage an der Straße, aber die Fenster schließen ziemlich dicht und nachts ist kaum Verkehr.

Super comfortable modern apartment

This flat has been renovated recently and it feels like a new home. Everything is super clean and everything works and so this is a very comfortable base for work or holiday time. The location is not like being in a beautiful hill town or the old historic centre of a city but it is well connected and convenient for getting around the area. Also very nice host, great communication before we arrived and through the stay. Overall, a very good choice for us.
