This modern 2 bedroom apartment was totally renovated . It is on the third floor of a classic building, located in the heart of Cannes and with a lift (elevator). The apartment is a few steps from Meynadier street, the oldest and most famous pedestrian street in Cannes. It is known for it's outside shops and festival atmosphere, but very quiet at night. This lovely apartment has high ceilings, large windows and double doors opening onto two balconies, one with a quaint street view to the sea and the Cannes old port. This apartment is ideal either for business or vacation, being only a three minute walk from the Film Festival site and beaches. Many of Cannes' most notable restaurants and shops are within a five minute walk, including Cannes' celebrated farmer's market, Forville Market.

Great location and spacious apartment
We were there for 5 nights, the main reason why we rented this particular apartment was the elevator, and it just happened to be broken for 3 of these 5 nights - traveling with a baby (stroller) was a huge inconvenience. The owner was helpful and worked on fixing it, but still. The area is a pedestrian area, so being dropped off at the apartment is a challenge we had to walk 300mts to the closest drop off/pick up point - with suitcases and everything this is something to consider. The location otherwise is great, close to restaurants, the beach, you could do everything walking. The apartment is clean, a bit smaller than the pictures made it look like, but comfortable enough for two adults and a baby.

Location wise this apartment is perfect for TFWA. We enjoyed our stay and on the whole the apartment worked for us. The shower head needs a holder to make it user friendly and another floor mat when 2 of you are staying for a week would also be helpful. More coffee mugs wouldn't go amiss. The entrance, lift and stairwell are in need of a deep clean.

Fantastic and amazing
We had a truly wonderful time in downtown Cannes. We felt very welcome by the Lavigne family as if we had been there before and known them for a long time.The location could not be more perfect, Cannes at our feet! The appartment is beautiful and felt like home from the first day. We will definitely go back when possible! Thank you again so much for everything Michel and making our X-mas a very special one!!!

Nice apartment but a few things to note
I was surprised this was not noted in other reviews. If you have a lot of luggage it's important to know that you cannot be dropped off by the apartment. You will have to walk about half a block. Also, while there are double windows and reasonable noise reduction, there are several bars and restaurants nearby, so it is not completely sound proof. Lastly, while the bathroom has been renovated, the shower head has not been installed. You will have to hold it with one hand while taking a shower. That said, the apartment has a great location and a very nice and responsive host.

Wonderful location
We booked this apartment, and realized how close it was to everything! It’s spacious, has everything you would need, and the host, Michel, was available at any time to answer questions. It’s located on Meynard, but at night, you wouldn’t know it! We hardly heard any noises. And there are restaurants, shops and grocery stores within walking distance.

The apartment is perfectly located in Cannes. Every morning, I walked to the food market for fresh fruit and vegetables, to the boulangerie for my baguette, croissants and pain au chocolat. In the afternoon, I could walk to beach (I liked Okey and le Benitier beaches). The train station is near by and very easy to get to different towns on the riviera, like Juan-les-Pins. Michel was a perfect host. Extremely helpful and available if needed. The apartment was very clean, air conditioners in all rooms and wonderful balconies. I highly recommend this apartment, enjoy!

Perfectly situated for business or pleasure in Cannes
Whether your mission is a conference or festival or just enjoying the town and beach, this is a perfectly situated apartment with easy access to the Palais, Boulevard de La Croisette, Le Suquet and Rue D' Antibes. Thank you for the gorgeous week.
We had a lovely week in this apartment. It was very clean and the owners where very helpful and really helped to make our week enjoyable. The apartment was very close to the centre of the town and facilities. In general had a lovely week and thank you very much.

I am a business man with a shop on Meynadier street, in the same building as our apartment. I have lived in Cannes all my life and am well known in the local business community. In addition, my wife and daughter also have offices on the first floor of the same apartment building. Our rental apartment is on the third floor.

Why they chose this property

I grew up in Cannes, in this apartment. We now live outside Cannes but have renovated this apartment for our use when we take retirement. Therefore, the renovation has been done to a very high quality, for our later use. We have chosen to keep this property for our retirement, because of its prime location, minutes to most major services in Cannes, and its ideal size, not too small or too big.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! For our guests, an added advantage is that during business hours, we are easily accessible, just a few metres away, for any questions and advice on local services and events. We know Cannes!
