Weekend getaway

We loved staying here. Our room was so cute and very clean. The owner provided great recommendations for things to do in the area and they have a fun bar located on the main level of the building. We look forward to visiting again.

The perfect place!

My fiancé and I both loved how welcoming and cozy the place is. The rental had everything we needed and is located in such a great neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beautiful and affordable spot. The bed is extremely comfortable! Before our check in the host gave us a very detailed list of places to see and restaurants to visit along with some blues bars to check out for our romantic date nights. Between the amazing property and the host who went above and beyond, I can say this was my favorite all around experience with a short term rental!

Best spot

We were in town for a concert at Heritage Bank. This property was exactly as described. There are a few places to eat or grab a drink within walking distance. It was perfect for what we needed. Looking forward to staying again the next time we are in town.

We loved unit three. We had stayed in unit five previously, and loved it as well. This place is truly a hidden gem. Studio apartment with high ceilings, comfortable, king sized bed, small, but full, essentially furnished, kitchen, clean, nice/quaint, bathroom, even a shared, furnished, covered/screened deck/porch to enjoy. Easily walkable to many places of interest. Must check out La Mexicana and Sis’s restaurants. We walked to Southgate House Revival for a show, but already want to go back to visit the nearby boutiques and unique shops. We will be back!

Cute and Cozy!

My Husband and I was in town to see the Marlay Brothers in concert. We loved the property and thought it was cute, clean and cozy. It's in a great location with various restaurants in walking distance to eat. We were only there for 1 night, but tried the Mexican restaurant right around the corner. It was delicious. Another plus is that the host(s) are very responsive! This place will be our go to from now on when we visit Cincy!

The studio was very clean. It’s in a perfect spot for walking to shops and bars. Hosts are very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be staying at their property again.

They had a whole kitchen, nice living / bedroom, as well as fully stocked bathroom. The very large shared back porch has a complete overhang in case it’s Sunny or rainy. We would definitely travel and stay here again.

Great overnight stay

We stayed one night to attend a concert in downtown Cincinnati. It was an easy walk to the stadium. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in Newport as well - lots of dining options. Be aware that there is a skylight in the room, so when the sun comes up, the room is lit! It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you need a blackout room to sleep, this might not be your best option.

Easy access to lots of great bars and restaurants

Easy to find and park. There are quite a few stairs inside and out, not an issue for us, but just an fyi. Lots of great restaurants and bars right out the door! Host was very friendly and did a great job of communicating! There is a nice skylight in the kitchen area, but since it’s a studio, it gets rather bright pretty early, maybe a sleeping mask if you’re a sensitive sleeper. Very clean and comfortable room. Definitely will consider again next time we are down in Cincinnati for a concert or Bengals game!

Anniversary Getaway

I surprised my husband for our anniversary with a two night getaway so we could explore both Cincinnati and Newport areas. We started with a Red’s game. We were able to park at the unit and walk to the game. Our host, Jeff, let us know when our unit was ready for us, so we were able to move our stuff in prior to the game. The walk over and back was enjoyable even in a down pour of rain. The unit came with a map of shops, restaurants. We walked to and ate at Wooden Cast Brewery, delicious (we highly recommend going there!). The unit had everything we needed for our stay. Krogers was a five minute drive away to get supplies for breakfast. We will be back and have recommended to our friends!

Perfect place for me and two out of town girlfriends to spend a Girls Weekend together. Especially since I'm a south sider and we were lunching and attending an event in Franklin, but wanted to be downtown. The Carraige House was so awesome...decorated terrific, clean, stocked and a fabulous deck for evening hang outs. It had great parking, easy lock access and we loved the extended check in and check out times. I'm actually headed back to grab my final things and to show my kids the place before having dinner in the Fountain Squre area. Jeremy and Katherine were terrific hosts and I would definitely return again!

We are empty nesters. Terri loves walking to the Farmer's Market, shopping in the antique stores, and of course bourbon! Jeff loves all of the music venues within walking distance. We also enjoy walking the "East Row" and enjoying the 19th century architecture of the beautiful homes.

Why they chose this property

This building is in a historic district that was very colorful (gambling, strip clubs, etc.). Revitalizing the area is so exciting! Newport has amazing restaurants, great bourbon places, and craft beer! Everyone is loving the new king size beds!

What makes this property unique

We offer free private parking for one car, no cleaning fee, and sipping and shopping at Urban Chick Boutique Wine and Bourbon Bar, located below. As well as a concierge service!
It's a beautiful walking neighborhood with many things to do and enjoy. If you love beautiful homes and buildings built in the 1850's to 1920, this is the place to take in the architecture from this wonderful era. Don't forget our wine and bourbon bar!!
