Fabulous for famlies - walk to everything
We loved the location of this property. We hardly used the car. we could walk to the market, restaurants, and the boat hire. The house was in excellent shape and well-appointed. We would definitely stay again with our family.

Why they chose this property

Wroxham and Hoveton St. John are two connected villages, split by the River Bure. Most of the village facilities are actually in Hoveton, but are generally known as Wroxham - the capital of the Norfolk Broads. Both the North Norfolk coast and the city of Norwich are less than 30 minutes drive away.

The Norfolk Broads consist of over 125 miles of waterways set amongst stunning countryside and picturesque towns and villages. Boats are available for hire for you to self-navigate along the waterways or alternatively you can book onto an organised river cruise. Find cafes, pubs, ice cream parlours, restaurants and even a independent family run department store all just minutes away on foot.

Surrounded by nature and wildlife, with cycle hire and loads of great walks you’ll be pushed for time for much else. Something a little bit different, which we can assure will be enjoyed by the adults as much as the kids if the fantastic BeWILDerwood. Parents are encouraged to explore the fun filled outdoor adventure forest which hosts the fantasy creatures; Crocklebrogs, Twiggles and Boggles. A terrific day out no matter what age you are!
