Weobley Stay

Very pleasant stay. This was the second time we have stayed there this year. Lovely, well equipped kitchen area, we spent most of our time in the house here!

Short stay in early Sepember

Very comfortable & convenient - eggs, milk & Welsh Cakes very welcome. Great Kitchen. Remember your slippers as stone floors are cold all year around (heating very effective & quick to respond) . Could do with a bed side light as only switch is by the door & room is pitch black with light off, also could not lock the backdoor from the outside. Would definitley book again excellent value for money.

Quaint cottage

Arrived early but not a problem for Merlys,as she happily met us. Inside we found fresh milk, fresh eggs from their farm and chocolate cookies, what a lovely gesture. Had a problem with heating but had a quick response and this was sorted. WiFi for us would have been a big plus. Great location, friendly village with good pub and cafe.

Idyllic Country Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Weobley. Both the owner and villagers made us feel really welcome. Will definitely return.

Excellent

Very clean and had everything I needed. Only negative comment is that the airfresheners were very overpowering

We farm cider apples and Hereford cattle 4 miles from Stone Cottage. We also run an Antique shop in Leominster - Stockmoor Antiques. Leominster is 20 min drive from Weobley and renowned for its quantity of antique/ vintage outlets.

Why they chose this property

Stone Cottage is particularly charming as its origins are C16th/C17th and the stones used are most likely from the castle which existed behind it. It has been added to over the centuries, and when we bought it, had not had much done for the best part of 80yrs.
We renovated it carefully, modernising but keeping its essential character.

What makes this property unique

Weobley is the largest and best preserved of the classic black and white villages of Herefordshire.
