Beach Vacation

This was the perfect spot for our vacation/softball nationals! Right on the beach! Everything was clean and enough space for 7 of us! Lots if restaurants with in walking distance!

Great stay every time

I love staying at this condo. The place is beautiful, comfortable balcony with great views and condo is in a wonderful spot on the beach. Dana is so easy to work with on booking the place. We’ve started staying here every year and I hope to continue that tradition.

Amazing place for vacation

We went on a family vacation with 6 adults and two kids under 6. This condo was perfect! It is very clean, has amazing views, feels very safe and lots of extras to help with the trip. One of our favorite things was the shower head attached to the master bathtub, this made bathing the kids and ensuring all sand was off and they were all clean. The security guards on the property were very friendly. Dana was extremely easy to communicate with and very friendly. The balcony truly is huge and great for morning coffee, board games with kids, or watching the dolphins swim. The condo is right on the beach and was very easy to access with small kids. It was also very quiet and peaceful throughout the property and even at the outdoor pool. We will plan to book this again for future visits and 10/10 recommend.

Great Annual Girl's Trip

Overall a great place to stay. Would recommend new linens for the beds - sheets felt thin and rough. Few cleanliness issues too - found old pizza roll under couch! Considering the cleaning fee, would not expect this!! Other than those 2 things, everything else nice. Great location and beautiful view.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

This place is by far the best experience I’ve had staying at the beach. It is literally on the beach, and close to everything. The place was very clean. The smaller ones enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor pool as well as the indoor pool when it rained. The older ones loved the beach. Elevator wait times were very very quick. Parking was easy. Overall I will be doing business again, probably yearly as we have family down there. Thank you so much for being prompt and communicating with us anytime we had a question… by the way, that balcony is HUGE!

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. Unit was quiet and spotless and had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable, unless you require them to be very soft. The balcony is the bomb-diggity! 20th floor but we never ever had to wait for an elevator. Parking is tight. If you can bring the smaller car, do it! Plenty of carts Avila me to get all our gear and baggage to the 20th floor. We would return. Thanks for a great stay!

Condo was nice with exception the floors were dirty, not just sandy. Porch furniture is really nice and sturdy. Building overall needs some attention in common areas. West elevator needs some repair to control panel wall. Pool area not really inviting, but pool is not why we go to beach.

Really nice place!

The condo itself was very nice and clean. It had a great view of the gulf. The owner/manager was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The only issue we had during our stay was that the beach chairs/umbrella that were to be provided with our condo rental were not automatically added to the beach chair company (Suncoast). I had to go down each morning and explain the situation to the Suncoast attendant to make sure that our chairs/umbrella were set up. I let the condo owner/manager know about this near the end of our stay and she wasn't happy about the issue and planned to remedy it going forward. I know that this explanation of the issue took up most of the text in this review, but our stay overall was great and very enjoyable. We highly recommend this condo!

Gulf Shores 2021

First impression was not good. The furniture was worn out and the sliding doors to balcony needed a serious cleaning. The two elevators did not work properly until the last day we were there causing delays and too frequent use of stairs. However, our booking agent was very responsive and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable, including adding complimentary beach furniture and an extra parking pass for a late arriving family member. Thank you Dana!!

Great property

The accomodations were very nice. My problem was the lack of communication about things not working. The garden tub was #1 on my list for this trip. It didn't work and there was no communication about it until I texted management. I mainly texted management so that they would know it wasn't us that caused the problem. I was informed that there was a part on order indicating that the issue was known but not communicated to us. I'm an understanding person but this soured me from the first night. The strange smoke alarm on the first floor was not a confidence builder! It is a great location and the large balcony was also a wonderful feature.

Thanksgiving at the beach!

This condo was very nice! Exactly as pictured on line! It was well stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen. The bathrooms each had hairdryers and curling irons. The balcony furniture was sooooo nice! Loved sitting out there in the nice furniture. The only complaint I would have is the living room couch was not comfortable at all. It is a little dated and worn. The rest of the furniture was simply amazing!!! I also loved that the dinning room area and metal chairs at the dinning table and the table was sturdy. Most condos I have stayed in does not have durable dinning furniture. We will definitely book here again in the future. It was an excellent thanksgiving vacation with my family thanks to this wonderful condo!!!!!! Thank you!!!!

We have owned this unit since the building has opened. Loved the quietness of it, only sounds of waves and birds on the balcony, and low density nature of it. 3 units per floor. We love the beach!

Why they chose this property

Island Tower is considered one of the best built buildings in Gulf Shores. Miami Dade Certified with floor to ceiling walls of windows, the privacy in this building, the sleek modern design and the great location make it a terrific building. Only three units per floor, too, so I don't feel like I'm in a dorm for adults, like in other huge buildings. We only have 55 units in this building. Love the infiniti pool and this is the best fitness center on west beach. Walk to dinner, light grocery shopping and the Hangout.

What makes this property unique

This balcony is so large, if everyone staying in the unit had a lounge chair, the balcony could sleep 12. No tiny eeking around people. It is tiled, and incredibly private, too. You see no one else on their balconies, just the water and the sand and hear the birds.
