About this property

In central Boulder, on a quiet 1/3-acre lot, our cozy mid-century home has been thoughtfully renovated over the years. It features solar PV, radiant heat, and mini-split AC units in each bedroom.

A 20-acre park is just out the back gate, with a new water park, pool, and playground. The Boulder bike path runs through, so biking or walking is an easy option.

Located near CU and the 29th St. Mall, with easy downtown bus access, this central spot is perfect for enjoying all Boulder has to offer.

**** The booking adult must be at least 30-years old. Parties are not allowed. This is our home, and we'll appreciate you treating this as if it's your house. Sorry, and strangely, glitter and Axe Body products are not allowed.

GreenGate is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. Originally built in the early 1950s, it has been carefully renovated in recent years, with both bathrooms and the kitchen completely updated. It’s powered and heated by solar energy.

Mini-split AC units are installed in all the bedrooms and the main living area for added comfort.

This is our personal home, and we ask that you treat it as you would your own. There are three bedrooms: the primary with a Cal King bed, ensuite, and a loft office with an outdoor deck; the "purple bedroom" with a queen bed; and a third bedroom with a double bed.

The screened-in patio off the dining room offers a peaceful retreat to enjoy the enchanting backyard. We love sitting in the gravity chairs watching the squirrels play. You can also unwind in the garden while relaxing on a glider. Scott Carpenter Park, with an Olympic-sized pool, water park, playground, and grassy hill, is right out our back gate.

The dining room features two large windows and a cozy sitting area with a glider chair. We offer wireless internet and a new sectional couch in the living room, along with YouTube TV, PBS, and Amazon Prime for entertainment.

City of Boulder license #RHL2017-00279 and only 3 unrelated occupants are allowed to rent the space.

There are two outside Ring security cameras, one at the front door and one near the back door.

Good vibes is right!

Overall, this place is great. Located short drives from campus, which was why we were there, to stores, Pearl St., and all of Boulder. The snowy cold weather prevented us from outdoor activities, but there is a huge park over the back fence with paths, play areas, and an impromptu sledding hill. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, we stayed warm when inside, the kitchen was fully furnished so we could have cooked easily. There is a pillow on the couch that says "Good Vibes", which is very appropriate. We felt at home or like we had walked into a good friend's home.

Perfect location and home

This was such a lovely home and perfect for our stay during our CU weekend. Easy walking distance to campus and all of the shopping and restaurants. We loved the warm vibe of this house and quiet little neighborhood. The park just beyond the backyard is really nice if you have kids. The house was clean and everything was as described, with the kitchen being fully stocked and very comfortable beds. Check-in was a breeze, Eric was super communicative and very accommodating for us. We would def book this again!

Best location!

Great location in Boulder! Big yard that backs to a wide open park with a sledding hill for kids. Also Boulder Creek runs right by house and is so pretty. Close to Whole Foods and outdoor mall. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed our time here.

Colorado vacation

We loved the home and the Park behind us. Our vacation was great and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the lovely back screened porch at night. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed family time on it each night. The only issue was the main bedroom had no storage for clothes. There was no closet for hanging clothes and no empty drawers so we had to live out of our suitcase. That was easy to overcome since everything else was great. Thanks for sharing you home with us.

Just like home

Eric and Shanti have graciously opened their house to others who want to experience life in Boulder. We visited our daughter (who lives in Boulder ) over Thanksgiving and this was a great place to gather. We were a family with an infant, toddler, their parents and grandparents. The house is clean, spacious, and abuts a park with a playground. That's one reason I chose it - we walked out the back gate with our toddler and played there. The house is remodeled inside as you can see from the photos. Everything we needed for Thanksgiving was there. When we had questions they were quickly answered. We would love to come back in other seasons to take advantage of the screened-in porch, the yard, and the neighborhood. I highly recommend others to stay here.

wonderful home and owners

This was the perfect place for our long weekend visiting our older daughter at CU Boulder. Our younger 10yo daughter lover the park with playground just out the back gate. The water park was closed for the season but looks like a lot of fun. Our younger daughter left a note in their guest comments book, and the owners emailed a very nice reply which our daughter will be thrilled to read after she gets out of school today!

The house was great, as advertised. Clean, updated, nice large peaceful backyard. If you are looking to do anything at CU, downtown Boulder this is an ideal, walkable destination. Short drive to the Flat Irons as well. Highly recommend

Property is located close to CU Boulder campus and within walking distance to 29th street mall. The backyard is large and backs up to a park. We are a family of 4 adults and there was plenty of room to entertain and feed a group of 10 adults on Thanksgiving.

Charming house in the center of Boulder. Backs up to a great waterpark (which our kids loved!). Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the Boulder Creek Path. The owners were wonderful — kind, thorough, and communicative. Highly recommended.

A GREAT stay in uncertain times

Eric and Shanti were FABULOUS hosts! The house was perfert for us to attend a wedding in Longmont. 3 couples explored Boulder, and the surrounding area for 4 days. Weather was perfect. We played games in the back yard, went for walks in the park, and are ALL coming home to order the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. (tuft & neeedle). The house was clean, and exactly as advertised. Thank you for your hospitality!

Truly great house.
