Lucca was Filthy

This property was Disgusting. Dirty Is An Understatement. No pillow cases in the BR. Hair on the floor in the bathroom, Hair on the used bar soap offered as toiletries, floors overall was dirty with dust bunnies everywhere, dishwasher didn't work and smelled so bad, microwave did not work and finally the curtains had to be held together with hangers. this was our last Vacation Rental. As former VR Professionals, we were disgusted. I do Not Recommend This Property. Filthy! 2 out of the 3 rentals on this trip were Unexceptionable. We have Pics, just ask. We would love for you to see how bad it was. We were trapped in it as we were not in a hotel. Never Again!!!!!!!!!! Hotels from NOW ON!

Spacious place conveniently located

The apartment was very nice. Spacious and had a free indoor parking space. Convenient location within easy walking distance to the city wall. Highly recommend staying here!

Great spot in Lucca

What a great place. It’s has a great location, private parking, and a great host. Barbara is fantastic. She replies right away if anything is needed. I travel to Lucca for work and always look to this place. Most of the time I’m lucky because it’s open but when it’s not, my trip isn’t the same.

Wonderful stay in Lucca!

We were taking the train into Lucca and opted for a self-check-in. Even though Barbara provided us details of the check-in to her place, because she had 2 properties, there was a mix-up on the location. We got it straightened out pretty quickly and settled into her fabulous apt. Other than a bit of wear and tear on the property (one exposed outlet, shower head spray, and tear on the couch), it was a lovely, spacious apt for the 2 of us with a fantastic window view. It was an easy walk from the train station, into town, and to the local Lidl. I loved that we were able to do laundry and make dinner one night as everything we needed was provided. We even took advantage of the rooftop terrace. And the pictures didn't even show the extra bedroom that was available. My only suggestion would be to have overhead lighting on the dining table as even though we moved a light, there were no outlets close to the table, so it was a little dark. I would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect location

We had a very positive experience with booking, check in, and Barbara answering any questions in a timely and kind manner. The property location is perfect - just outside the walls of Lucca, so an easy walk into the walled city with the convenience of having a parking space in a secure garage. There is also a lovely rooftop terrace, easily accessed from the apartment, with a nice view of the park-like wall area. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, and safe/secure. The only disappointments were that the bicycles advertised on the listing were not actually available, the shower head is quite wonky, and we were asked to leave an extra 10 pounds after the billing process for something related to police registration. Overall, this was a nice accommodation and good experience.
