Good location for first time tourist....wouldn't stay again.
Let me preface this review with, "I've stayed in Italy 8 times over the last decade- all OLD buildings and never an experience like this."
Positives:
This is an excellent location for the first time tourist. It's close to everything!!-walkable. Also dozens of bars, restaurants and shopping out the front door. Water was hot, sheets were clean, great water pressure and good air-conditioning.
Challenges:
2 days before check-in still no contact from owner on check-in process. I had to make contact to get this process started. 3rd bedroom not as advertising. Only 2 bedrooms- 3rd bed is a pull out couch mattress-NOT comfortable - in the living room. Many electrical out lets did not work. Light bulbs missing from ones that did. Showers did not drain properly- water on the floor every morning. The 2nd toilet flushing mechanism "just broke" so we had to reach into the tank to flush the toilet-gross!! No coffee pot to make more than 1 c. of coffee at at time. Purchased a wonderful French Press from the store down the street. A gift to the owner...It's red. Should still be there when you arrive:)
The manager was not the owner, a younger individual- very kind. I did report all of this to him.
