The house was dirty, the floor wasn’t vacuumed or sweep & mopped. The bathtub still had hair in it so I know it wasn’t cleaned either. I wouldn’t walk on the floor without my shoes on. The light in the bathroom is so dim that you can’t get ready in there. But the worst part is the mouse problem!! They were everywhere. We couldn’t leave food out because they tore into it. I was scared to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There were mouse droppings all over the floor in the bathroom on the countertops In the kitchen. We couldn’t sleep in the master bedroom because of the sulfur smell coming from the hot water heater. So we slept in the other room my husband on one bed and I on the other. I ended up sleeping on the top bunk bed because I found mouse droppings on my bed!! I felt dirty the entire time I was there.
The cabin was the perfect setting to experience the beautiful vastness of Colorado. It is secluded from the outside world, but close enough that anything you need is just a short drive. The break from ties of everyday life (cellphones, internet, tv) is exactly what my family needed. 100% would return!
the cabin was wonderful! Only problem we ran into was there wasn't anywhere to put our trash. We stayed for a week and with 4 adults, 3 being men that love beer trash became a pain.
We loved our stay over Thanksgiving in this little cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and the locale was nice and quiet. We had some deer (and even wild turkeys!) come visit us. As stated in the listing, this cabin does not have wifi/cable and you will likely not have cell reception - but if you travel up the road a little bit you will likely find signal, should you have an emergency. Personally, we loved this since we wanted to stay disconnected for a few days. We would definitely stay here again!
There are only two things worth noting. First, it did not appear as though the cabin had any heat aside from two large space heaters provided. While these two were plenty for us, this might be because we did not use the room with bunk beds - we kept it closed. So, the cabin was a bit chilly at first but did warm up nicely after the first ~12 hours or so with the space heaters running. Obviously this is only something that is relevant should you decide to stay in the colder months.
The other thing is that the stairs that lead up to the deck/front door became incredibly icy. If you're careful it should be fine, but it would be nice if they offered some sand/gravel (or some other de-ice method) to make it a bit less treacherous. But you should be fine if you're careful.

Awesome Cabin
This was our 1st time to ever stay @ a cabin it was the most wonderful decision for my husband and I to make. Charles was great on helping us book it and also letting us know it was ready for us. When we saw the cabin we was already in awe with it and once entering it wow! we was excited and happy to be there. What made it even better was no phone service, no internet, no dish --- for us watching DVD's ( there was also games and books to ready @ the cabin) was great mainly cause we went trail riding in the mornings and back in the evening to relax. We had everything we needed in the cabin. It was hard when our last day came but we will be back. Now we can share with friends and family the beauty and peacefulness you can have when you stay @ the cabin. But most of all the time you have with each other with no phone, internet or dish it's a wonderful time to spend more time with each other. Even though my husband and I do a lot of that by camping out in a tent or our toy hauler staying @ the cabin is just as great. Thank you for the most wonderful cabin , the view was beautiful and can't wait til we can stay there again hopefully next time with family or friends. Sincerely Don and Emilia Lynn

Lovely cabin with a great view
Our family of 6 stayed at Evergreen for a few days and loved it. The cabin was clean and the view beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and included a dishwasher. Just keep in mind there is washing machine.

BAD
This cabin was not even close to what the pictures showed. The only updated thing in this cabin is the living room furniture. The bathroom was VERY small and smelled like a skunk our entire stay. The bathtub was dirty and I had to wash it myself. The bed sheets and blankets smelled like they hadn't been washed in a while. There is no light by the stairs so that's dangerous at night. There were outlets sticking out of the wall, dangerous when I have a 2 yr old. I would Not recommend this cabin.
