This delightful annexe is situated on a working cattle farm just outside the town of Longtown, in Cumbria, and can sleep two people in one bedroom.

Tight Lyne Cottage is a charming annexe adjoined to the owner’s farmhouse on a working cattle farm, just outside the town of Longtown in Cumbria. Hosting one double bedroom and a shower room, this annexe can sleep two people. There is also an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the outside is a lawned garden and off-road parking for one car. Tight Lyne Cottage is a calming retreat for couples wanting to explore the north of England. Please note: £30 pet charge will apply per week

Off-road parking for one car. Secure bike storage. Front lawned garden. One well-behaved dog welcome, more on request. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 2.4 miles. Please note: £30 pet charge will apply per week. Note: Owner will allow a dog but NOT between April & May when calving season. Note: Owner will provide fishing rights on the river. Please note: Electric car charging is NOT allowed at the property, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby with electric charging points available. Please note: there will be one basket of logs on arrival which is provided by the owner, refills of this can be purchased from the owner at an additional charge. Note: There are many tea rooms and farm shops locally.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Longtown is centred around four Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the Solway Coast AONB, the Northumberland National Park, North Pennines AONB and the Lake District National Park. The town provides a choice of shops, pubs, bars and restaurants to try. While being so close to the border of Scotland, the Dumfries and Galloway are also worth a visit.
